I had my lift kit and steering stabilizers installed this week, so naturally, I'm now considering options to dress up the look under the front bumper and inside the wheel wells. I'm starting to wonder if I'd be better off removing the plastic air dam entirely. I did notice on my last car wash...
There was no rubbing with those little spacer blocks for me, either. I have the wheel width and offset and all in a previous post if you need to reference any of it.
I think your main options are to get the Teraflex spacers, find a similar one on Amazon, or you can do like me and find the...
Yeah, the main difference in the wheels is that I didn’t want a bead or rivet look along the lip. Otherwise, they do look a lot alike.
In this picture, all I had was a 1.5” Daystar spacer on the front. Trust me when I say the angle of this picture is really misleading, though. It still had a...
The JKS lift went on today, and it looks and rides great. The dual steering stabilizer is going on tomorrow. I'll try and take pictures plus some audio of the new exhaust if this tropical weather doesn't interfere too much. The weather here has been nasty.
They originally made the High Tide for Florida like the Texas Trail was made for Texas. Then, they remembered Louisiana—like "yeah, better sell it there, too." 😂
I never made a post for my new tires and wheels, so here we go. I started with Icon Vector 5 wheels in satin black (17x8.5 with a -6mm offset). I liked the stock wheels, but they're out of spec to run true 35-inch tires.
For tires, I went with a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP (35x12.5)...
The two-color emblems are for the Rubicon and Mojave style where there's a graphite text layer on top and an orange, red, or other outline layer on bottom. It's all just matte black on my High Tide, so I'm doing the one-color version.

I just put in an order with Gladius Offroad since they already also have a 3D option for the "Gladiator" fender decal and even a 3D flag that goes with it. I'll get them all done at the same time. Thanks for the great recommendations!
I'm finally getting the sport bar installed that I've been looking for since last September. I'm really pumped about this. I already have my KC lights boxed up and ready to go. My High Tide doesn't have any Aux switches, so I've got the Mopar switch box ordered to control those lights.
I also...
I currently have a High Tide package decal on my tailgate. What I'd like to do is take this and create a 3D version that matches the style of the Jeep badging on other areas of the truck. Can y'all recommend any vendors that can do that?
Do you mind sharing the process you used? I'm guessing you went through one of the holes behind the "Jeep" badge and drilled a hole through the bottom side of the tailgate?
I really like the look of the Oracle tailgate light bar, but I hate the "wrap around and under" wiring and how cheap it looks. Has anyone tried running the wiring through the tailgate instead of just taping it around and behind like in the instructions?
