My Rubi (bought it used) came with the Quadratec dead pedal already in it. It does make a difference for me and I would have installed one if it wasn't already there. My Jk does not have one and one of these days I will put one in it. It's a mod I wanted to make a long time ago, just never got...
This site is for anyone who has an interest in the Gladiator, not for just Gladiator owners. Then the other issue is that your suggestion of asking a sales person is flawed. My experience is that almost all Jeep salesmen know almost nothing about the Jeep. Gladiator owners are the best resource...
I try to make a trip to the Potts Mountain Jeep Trail every year. Usually hit Broad Run Road when we are there.
Love the trip , the views and the sights there.
I bought 2 sets of the aluminum brackets, one for a friend with a broken visor and one for mine where the visors are still OK. His Gladiator is out of warranty, mine is in warranty. For $13, it's either a cheap fix or cheap insurance.
Installation note: Pull one screw, put the bracket on with...
The diesel would do all you want as far as towing and the camping part. It also will get 19 MPG easily as long as you don't go Mario Andretti on it.
You really need to sit in one and drive it. I have a friend who is 6'1 with a Rubi Gladiator and he fits with no issues.
Now the roof top tent...
As long as you don't plan to go off road, they look like a decent option. You absolutely could use an aux switch to power the steps.
I like the use of the magnet sensors like the Rock Slide steps for the doors instead of Amp's way of hacking the factory wiring.
My Gladiator rides so much better than my JK ever did. IMHO, the my Gladiator rides just as good as my Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and that rides really nice.
What was the estimate to fix it? My son played chicken with a deer a week ago with the WK2. Initial estimate was about $2500 but I expect a supplimental being submitted.
It's a direct copy so, yes, it can be installed without the ends. A Plus is it usually has the winch plate built into it. Mine came with the short bull bar too. It came in at less than $500.
I assume the insurance is paying the bill. If you want to keep the stock appearance, go with the Mopar steel bumper. If you don't mind painting one first, the knockoff steel bumper s also decent and much less expensive.
I did. I have my buddies JTR over here to use while he is traveling up north and my wife was in Chattanooga with ours. I was test fitting an LED dash light on it and the passengers visor just fell out when I went to move it out of the way. So I ordered 2 sets. One for him and one for me.
Yes, I drove both. While the Mojave rode well I felt the Rubicon rode better.
My wife just came back from another long trip in it and still is commenting how well it rides and she is coming from a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. That rode really well and had the better seats in it. With her back and...
