My passenger visor is falling off from the post on my Gladiator. I can pop it back up and it just pulls down again shortly. I have the Wires for the mirror light going thru it. Anybody got a fix for this before I tear into it. Thanks

There are multiple lengthy threads on this forum, and on the sister JL forum, about this issue. Many, many have been replaced under warranty, including two on my 2020 JT. I carry one of the kits from amazon in the console box of my Mojave, just in case.

If you can get it fixed under warranty, I would go that route first. I had both of mine replaced under warranty a few months apart.

I have the brackets in that Amazon link on both of my visors and my wife’s and haven’t had a single one pop out since putting them up

Definitely go get it replaced under warranty but be aware that Jeep did not actually fix the weak plastic construction, so it can/will likely happen to the replacement visor, and the visor that replaces that one, and so on.

So once it has been replaced under warranty, install one of the visor braces to strengthen it so that it won’t happen again.

Both of mine have failed and been replaced under warranty and both have the brackets on them.

My driver’s side broke within 3 months of new. Then broke again right away. Both were warranted. I immediately used the steel reinforcement noted above and have had no trouble since. When my son bought his Mojave I installed a set in his truck right off the bat. No issues (he can break an anvil in a padded room!). Great product.

Is there any reason to order the aluminum kit? I put the original plastic kit on when the Mojave was new as precaution and have not had any trouble. Has anyone had the plastic kit fail?

I bought 2 sets of the aluminum brackets, one for a friend with a broken visor and one for mine where the visors are still OK. His Gladiator is out of warranty, mine is in warranty. For $13, it's either a cheap fix or cheap insurance.

Installation note: Pull one screw, put the bracket on with one screw, remove other screw swing bracket in place and install the other screw. Do it this way, you can do both sides in a total of 10 minutes. Don't do what I did on the broken side on my buddy's and pull both screws at the same time.
