I wonder if you could unbolt the mirror from the door. Then make a 3d printed extension block in the shape of the mirror base , maybe 4 inches. Then bolt the mirror to the block, extend the wire as required and bolt the block to the door. Doesn't seem to hard or expensive. Kind of like a wheel...

I replaced my front bumper and have a Rubicon Plastic front bumper for sale. Fog lights and wiring have been removed, but everything else is there.

Just to follow up, I found it took about 6 days for everything to dry and harden properly. I am still smelling the off gassing. It is hot here in Fl, I thought it would go faster. I do have a tonneau cover on.
4 bolts and the skid pad is off. 2 plastic push pins at the top, then 8 18mm bolts, disconnect fog lights and the bumper comes off. Remove the fog lights and install on new bumper.
There are a lot of videos on bumper installs, I have the Rubicon, so the metal skid pad is different than the sport. Also, the plastic wind reflectors are not on my truck
