The issue i think will be finding a molle panel with enough room in between the freedom panels, but that section where the freedom panels meet don't have the metal reflective film from the head liner so I hope it gets reception there.

I did the same thing and bought myself the mini yesterday. I also have the hot head headliner and figured it would mess up the reception. But I wonder if it is possible to place the mini on top of some overhead molle panel, between the panel and the freedom top. I'll attach a photo but this...

As a new jeep owner, I didn't know about the jeep wave. Was a bit confused at all the peace signs being given to me. So until this thread and looking up what a jeep wave was I've just been awkwardly given "jeep waves" back for the past 7 months.
