I hear you. Or payment is just $235. Our JTR was paid off and I got $30k for trade with Carvana. The Ram was priced much lower than other dealers and CarMax. They delivered the truck to our house in the mountains and took the Gladiator with them. Their process is so simple with no sales pressure...
Solved my towing problems. Traded the JTR for a ā24 Ram 2500 Hemi. Believe it or not, Iām getting better MPGs towing the same camper. The Ram tows like a dream. Farewell everyone. It was a great 2 years of sharing information and humor on this forum. Iām still with the Jeep family as we still...
I'm on 35s. I spoke with my neighbor who owns a shop and he said to take it in anytime for gearing. I just need to figure out what I want to do. My wife keeps telling me to keep the Gladiator and trade in her Tiguan for a full size truck. We might do that. How was it going up hills? Did it...
Most of the way I kept it at 60 MPH on some flats it could do 65. With the frontal wind on mild hills it had to downshift to 4th to maintain 50 but it would not gain any speed. I have been towing for over 30 years and have had several trucks and always tow well below the limits and at safe...
I forgot to mention that the Airlift airbags help too. Itās not as bouncy as without. But yah, a full size truck would have no issues towing this rig.
Why would you avoid being around me on the highway? There is absolutely no trailer sway with my setup. If that is what you meant. That is about the only thing I donāt complain about when towing. The camper weight is around 3,400 plus gear.
Yesterday, on our way back from camping, it was very windy and made a bad towing truck, terrible. My JTR is by no means a tow truck from the factory, but with larger tires, stock gears, mini van engine and hauling a tall camper with gear, high elevation, it turns into a shit show. I had no...
I have the K-Source mirror. They work well. Fit secure and there is no noticeable vibration.
Out Geo Pro is 7.5ā wide so the mirrors arenāt going to be as wide as the camper but the extra inches do help.
We are currently camping and used them on Friday for the first time. I recommend them...
Jeeps fault for jacking up prices while delivering a new dash but essentially the same truck from 2020. I love my truck but wouldn't buy another one at the current prices and sole engine choice.
I hear you. All of the cams that I have found that have a similar mount like the GoPro are intended to be mounted upside down on the windshield or having from the mirror. They have no option to flip the image if mounted on the Rubigrid. Been looking on and off for the last year. No luck so far.
Looking for a dash cam that I can mount on my BulletPoint Rubigrid Go Pro camera mount. I tried using my GoPro Hero but it really isn't a good camera for dash cam purposes. All of the cameras I've found are the ones you mount on the glass hanging upside down or rear view mirrors. Anyone knows...
FYI, not sure if you have ever heard of the movie Deliverance. Breadman was making a joke (I assume) since you mentioned that you lived deep in the woods and never used your mailbox. There is a scene where the mountain man says, "I bet you can squeal like a pig".
At 2.5", caster will be off and the axle will shift to the side. You'll need geo brackets or longer LCAs and an adjustable track bar. You can find a decent and sturdy track bar for under $200 (RSO Beast for 0-6 inches of lift) and the Mopar LCAs are cheap.
