Has rock kralwer released their aux tank/fuel cell? It's been indev for a couple years now I think?
edit: looks like they have - https://rockkrawler.com/rock-krawler-4-5-rockzilla-coilover-long-arm-suspension-for-jeep-gladiator-jt/
Probably have to call them but I wonder what the cost is on...
Yeah stage 2 cold start is a bit more aggressive, it functions perfectly fine in my experience though and will progress through the idle down increments as it gets warmer. Step on the brake before putting it into gear and watch the RPMs drop to 8-850 no issue irrespective of outside or fluid temps.

Sounds like they had a dealer do theirs.
it's early in this thread a few times - https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/ecu-pcm-clone-process-pricing.67939/post-1368371
I'd recommend investing the hour or 2 in reading this whole thread, there is a lot of comments and tips and tricks to make the process easier and more...
Yikes, I'm not looking forward to this job eventually..
You thinking manufacture defect? Or environmental (water/mud/heat)?
Did you end up just using an OEM replacement or go aftermarket high amp? These smart alternators aren't cheap to begin with, some of the aftermarket high amps are crazy.
If you go stage2 with stock or economy tune you could probably do a bit better. Depends on what your goal is? Max mileage possible or a mix of mileage/power?
Stage 2 tow tune with 38s flat roads I see 24 or so when I stay below 70, shoot I recently did a 400 mile trip hauling a 6500lb trailer...
