Well, it made 2 years before it started to rust in 1 spot. Contacted Blackhorse and they said its a 3 year fit and finish warranty. Just needed to supply them my purchase receipt, pics of rust and Jeep VIN number. Totally covered.. Problem is they don't know when they'll have a new bar in...
Anybody going? I did this academy last year and a buddy bought a new Jeep this past summer and asked me to take my jeep again with him so he wasn't alone.
Just wondering if anybody else from the forum will be there
It was a blast last year. Especially the Thursday date as the park was closed...
I know some of you have seen my posts where my son and I do WWII re-enactments. We have a matching serial number M1 garand that was manufactured in April of 44 and shipped to England in May of 44 and the trail goes dead there. Was it used in D-Day, who knows, but its a awesome shooting rifle...
What a cool and simple mod. Took all of about 20 mins and 10 of that was trying to disconnect the inline from the rosebud / fir tree clip next to / under the brake controller to tie the "T-fitting connector" into.
The grommets and fittings fit perfectly into the grill inserts. One thing that...
Finally getting around to installing my Xmas present from the wife and kids. So far got the fronts done. I like the way the Diver Down neoprene seat covers fit so far. Wil do the rears tomorrow.
Been on a bucket list of mine since I bought my wife (haha) her Ruger 77 Varmint 223 so she had a reason to goto the range with me back in 1999. Fast forward to Nov 2021. 3 dads with 3 High School senior boys got to talking and the boys wanted to do a hunting trip vs their HS senior trip...
Just did a quick test fit. Would need some adjustments if the doors were off. Overall looks like a quality product. Since I can't fit in the garage like I did with my JKUR, this was the only thing that I could think of that wouldn't make me put the doors and top back on after every day of nice...
What the hell is up with this? 20K miles and the factory bumper insert around the tow hook is rusting. Same on the passenger side where I added a 2nd hook. Only had to cut out the plastic and no metal cutting for that one.
Anybody else have this?
Anybody know if this top fits with the factory soft top in the "closed" position? I can't fit in the garage due to my KC lights on the rollbar but would like to keep the doors off and back window and rear surrounds off if possible. I know Mastercraft and others, they say the soft top has to be...
Has anybody mounted a Warn 8274 on a gladiator and if so which mount? I have one offered to me and at a good price and wondering if anybody makes a mount to fit it or is it too much of a dinosaur to try and make work
Got another project done on Bumble today. Got my 3 100W KC daylighters mounted to the Blackhorse Sport bar.
The bar was designed for a 50" LED light bar, so I had to do some modifications to the mounting. I still have some tweaking to do with the light positions. Right now they interfere...
Trying to keep going with my retro Gladiator build. Installed 3 KC's tonight on the Blackhorse rollbar (pics to follow tomorrow), now focusing on a front bumper with winch. Looks like most of them back in the 80's were not recessed into the bumper, but rather sat on top. EAG seems to have...
thanks to @Discount Tire for getting me my Grabber AT 35x12.50x17 spare tire within 3 weeks from when I ordered it. I hear they are on national backorder but my dealer took care of me
Just curious as I have seen so many types of badges that jeep sends out, some look likey they the black outlined ones you get from specific trails and some look like they have a chrome outline like I have seen on you tube.
Got one for going to the jeep adventure academy and ordered my Holly...
Had a great time at the Jeep Academy at Holly ORV park. It was a great time and the park was closed to only our 25 jeeps. Learned a lot on the capabilities of the rigs and the "off-road cruise control" is invaluable during hill descents and hill climbs.
Had to pull a JLUR through the tire...
Pulled the Bennington out of the water and put in barn and pulled the Duck Boat out of the barn and getting ready to put in the water.
Summer is over. Time to focus on Fall
Gladiator tows these boat extremely well (granted the Bennington is only about 4500lbs). but very happy with how it tows them
Anybody ever have the suspension sticking when braking and coming to a stop and then settling back down? I had that once on a K5 when my driveline angles were off and had to drop my transfer case down with 1" spacers from the crossmember. It would nose dive a bit when stopping and then when at...
Did an afteroon goose hunting with my 2 kids. My son Mitch is a season hunter. My daughter was her first time out. Calls herself the Goose whsiperer now.
Son was using my 10ga Remington and me and my Benelli 12ga 3 1/2'. 50+ yard shot (farther then I really like) but dumped 3 out of the 6...
