  5. Some Advice From an Old Fart

Mine was a Clayton trackbar with a Clayton steering stabilizer relocation bracket and their supplied bolt. I emailed them the day it happened with no response. I wasn't complaining just curious what went wrong and if they had seen it before. This is my second Clayton suspension and I would buy...

  8. Sound deadening and tire noise, high frequency vs low frequency

Thanks for that rundown, I felt like the the trail grapplers were more of a low hum also. That's better for me. I was looking at the XLTs but they are very mild. I need to look at the MT A/Ts did they run small?
  9. Some Advice From an Old Fart

That was my guess also. I literally put the bolt in then tried to remove it. You could see it move freely enough in the bracket holes but not in the bushing.
  10. Sound deadening and tire noise, high frequency vs low frequency

I have hearing loss mainly in the mid range frequencies. I can hear annoying noises pretty well and voices not as well. We started another Gladiator build(3rd one) and this time I decided to go all in on the sound deadening. This raised an interesting issue. First was a Coverking headliner with...

  13. thinking about trading my JTR with a Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4WD 2.0 turbo gas

I did exactly that. I sold my JTR and bought a 2.0T Wrangler. I tried to like it but it didn't compare to the functionality of the Gladiator for me. It cost me a good bit of money but I am back in a JTR.

  16. Relays warm right after starting...

I drove it around the block. The fuel pump relays were pretty warm (warm defined by me for this thread is where you are able to keep your hand on it and not get burned, hot you cannot leave your hand on it without getting burned) I am blaming it on the ground cable not being tight enough unless...
  17. Relays warm right after starting...

Can someone check theirs and see if this is normal? Cool engie, fuse box cover off, start engine, hand on relays, pretty warm, not hot. I installed a winch then a Tazer mini JL. When I started it, it ran normal for a second then died. The relays were getting really warm and I disconnected the...
