The best time to get into Yellowstone is early. Like through the gate at 8am, which means arriving at the gate earlier than that. Wait too long and you'll sit in line waiting to get through, just to sit in line trying to get anywhere else. If you want to do the loop AND stop to see things, plan...
I updated my last post with a few brands. The "big three" as I call it, AEV, Metalcloak, and Clayton all have their "specialty" area, so that can come into play which route you might wanna go.
My advice, research the different lift brands, pick one that you like, call them and explain what you're trying to do and let them guide you through the process. Especially since you're trying to accomplish something thats not really the norm or common and most of us here go for at a minimum 2in...
Do what you will. Kelvin had originally asked to not mention anything about him leaving Exceed, but whats already been posted elsewhere is nothing different than what he told me.
Everyone says this, but I had 35s with a 3in lift (net was around 3.5") and everyone I came across thought they looked just fine. I thought they looked fine as well.
1.5" lift you will not need track bars. I would maybe look at extended rear brake lines though. You'll be fine 99% of the time...
I received some items from Kelvin to review, one of them was not fitting properly so I was working with him on it when he informed me he was leaving the company. He stated "I don't know how the next person will operate it (or shut it down), but I will do my best to ensure a smooth handover"...
EDIT: Zachs already covering it, if it was common enough they'd do a recall.
The ZF is not a bad transmission, the actual German ZF has been proven to be a stout well performing transmission, it's the 850RE US variant that sucks because, well, dare I say, it's American made.
There just being...
Theres always a few bad apples in every product. I have read that the 850RE (found in the gasser) might see more issues than a German built ZF, but overall they are a great transmission. One of the best performing transmissions I've owned.
I'm getting close to finishing revision #3 of my rear seat delete. I started out with one similar to GooseGear with enclosed sides and a hatch to store items underneath, but I hated it. To access anything stored underneath you have to empty out everything stored on the platform. Didn't sound bad...
Funny thing is, the thread title is actually on point, just not how they meant it. When I was shopping EVERYONE was telling me not to get a Jeep because it's garbage, especially the diesel. After I bought one EVERYONE was telling me it was a mistake and it's going to leave me stranded. 60k miles...
Here is there info and specs. I was trying to see what suspension they were using, but this makes it sound like its all factory since they are quoting factory specs. I'm curious how much that rear box weighs.

Glad I have full glass. Over the past 5 years we've had 4 replacements on the BMWs and haven't paid a dime. They are $1k+ for the glass alone.
Much like the Gladi, the BMWs windshields are really easy to crack.
The way I see it, we can't leave this earth with the money we have saved. Sure, we can give it to family or charity etc., and if thats your thing then great, but no one gave me anything and I've worked hard to get where I'm at in life so I'm going to spend my money on stupid things that make me...
Built not bought I believe came from the old drag racing days, where guys would show up at the strip with a car that came from the factory with high HP and performance goodies. It's not about DIY'ing your own parts and not buying them off the shelf, it's about the wrench time that you put into...
