Did some routine inspections and maintenance on my 2021 Gladiator Sport and found that my negative terminal is really loose. Tried to cinch down but the 10mm nut bottomed out.
Anybody got a quick fix that doesn't damage the negative battery post.
Bought these because the Grimm Off-Road Kit has been on back order since forever. But I over looked that all these bolts are Grade 8 while the factory bolts are Grade 10.9. The max torque values are significantly lower on these Grade 8 bolts.
Is it safe to assume that, if I followed Grade 8...

You read and see YouTube tutorials about using an inch pound beam style torque wrench to dial in the preload. But first time out I got to say... kinda useless. Just creep up on the preload with a medium impact wrench till the back and forth play (not rotational play ?) is...
Everything was going fine until I torqued the last caliper bolt. I was basically done and was just waiting for the click... and the click never came. YUP!!! I stretched the caliper bolt ?‍♂️
Oh Well... New set of bolts for the front and rear are coming.
