Same here, I don't have the ones you're talking about, but I have the same ones as Brent. The quality does seem good, but they are completely straight and don't seem to line up against the pinch weld as nice as I would like them to for the flush look. If I were to do it again, I would go with...
Good to know! Agreed the 5" option shouldn't really exist today, but you know there are people out there who want to listen to the radio without ever touching a screen
When you build a Sport S on Jeep's site, it no longer lets you select the 7" Uconnect as an option. The only options I see are 5" and 8.4". This worries me because I feel like there will be an overall lack of support for the 7".
As it is, there is no OTA update option for us and even though...
I'm a fan of the stock overland rims for sure. Some tire shops may be apprehensive on putting a 35" tire on a 7.5" wide rim though. That being said, you really can't go wrong with 35s on 17s or 18s, all preference :like:
How is it driving with the doors and freedom panels off, but the rest of the hardtop on? Or with entire top on and just doors off? Do you notice a difference vs. taking the whole thing off? I want to take the doors off to get the experience since I've never driven with them off before.
For...
According to my handy dandy lease calculator, with 1k down and a tax rate of 6% in WV, on a 36 month lease theyre quoting you about a 59% residual value (worth 31k at lease end). Seems a little low to me, especially on a 10k/yr lease.
On the Edmunds forums, I'm seeing a 64% residual on a...
Assuming both are running stock tires, not enough of an error for you to care/notice.
If you do care the dealer could probably do it, or a "Tazer" tool.
Big day yesterday, installed some JLUR premium wheel take-offs! (family discount -- my uncle just got some 17" fuel beasts/ 35" Nitto RG's). Pretty pleased with the way they look, no rubbing on my max tow even with the euro bumper pieces on (waiting for a better solution than cutting them before...
I realize it's kind of like putting lipstick on a pig and the best solution is to find a better bumper, but has anyone added a fog light trim piece like this to their sport/s bumper? All of the ones that I have found (like the one below) are for overland/rubicon and say they don't fit the sport...
It does hit the plastic above the windshield where the airbag indicator lights are. you have to push that up with some force for it to barely squeeze by. Don't worry, the plastic has some "give" to it.
Got bored on my lunch break and did this yesterday... you have about 2 inches below the mount and 1 inch above the mount before flipping. Flip it and what do you get? About an inch more clearance. Worth it.
Source: math :like:
If I were in TX, it wouldn't have been a question - Soft top for sure.
As soon as the nice weather hit, I regretted only getting the hard top. I like the idea of being able to flip the whole thing back in a few seconds. Having a little one at home means I likely won't be taking the entire hard...
I'm no mechanical engineer, but I believe the issue isn't with the weight of the setup necessarily, but with the added stress you put on the drivetrain by running lower gear ratios.
