It took me forever to get this in. It kept going out of production and back again, but I was finally able to get it. Just a warning that these things are just as crappy as when we were kids. They only really work on the concrete, and even then they struggle with any incline.
Late to the party, but I also agree with the base model Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra work truck trim with the 4.3 and 2 wheel drive (unless you live somewhere icy).
Sub-$30k, will last a long time, I'm not sure about a beat up work truck holding its value, but you'll have no problem eventually...
I agree about the Ridgeline. I was actually wanting to buy one of those, but they were impossible to find in the color and trim I wanted. Everything kept getting sent to the dealers at the highest trims, and I only wanted a mid-trim level. I started branching out to more options since I couldn't...
I think Ford is going to make a killing on these. They're the perfect truck for like more than half the people that think they need a truck. You get a truck bed, the ability to tow stuff (very low rated, but for most people it's probably fine if they don't have a large camper or anything...
I bought my Willys at AutoNation off of 35W near the Alliance area. They had it advertised for a few thousand off MSRP, and I'm not sure I noticed any dealer markups on their inventory when I walked around looking while my wife took the Gladiator for a test drive after I finished my own. You may...
Lol 2021 that I bought new and have had like almost a year with ~2500 miles. It would be half that if I didn't go visit my family a couple of months ago. My office is still WFH, so I have no commute. When the family goes somewhere we take my wife's pilot since it's roomier for my kids in their...
I had a base model 2019 Tacoma that I really liked even though it was a dog. We had to get rid of it because we couldn't fit a rear facing car seat in the back and have enough leg room for a front passenger.
Here's what happens when you big wheels with normal tires, vs normal wheels with big tires:
Spoiler: The same thing happens with the new tire a couple of minutes later.
Lol, it sounds like he hit some of you a little close to home. Y'all need to lighten up. All his reviews are basically like this. I thought it was hilarious.
I've started to see quite a few around here in the DFW area. I think they're pretty cool vehicles. They get a lot of hate from Jeep groups like this, but competition brings improvements, so I'm happy to see a Wrangler/Gladiator competitor.
I got this on Amazon:
Tyger Auto T3 Soft Tri-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover Compatible with 2020-2022 Jeep Gladiator (JT) | TG-BC3J1060
I really only use it when I'm travelling with the family to keep luggage in the back, and it's been perfectly fine.
