The factory is busy churning out dealer orders with Mts and Diesels…..
I hit 60 days at D1 today. I feel bad for the JL folks that have it worse than I. However, I’m starting to feel like I may be join the 100 day club before I see mine as well.
I tried to check the trackers this morning and my order can no longer be found. Interesting. It’s kind of funny that this actually makes me optimistic there might be changes coming lol
EDIT: it’s working now. No changes :(
Does this have the standard soft top or the premium soft top? Beautiful truck! I almost went with Sarge green, but I feel like it’s one of the more popular colors here.
Do these fine ladies and gentlemen work on Sundays? With the news of them going back to work I’m anxiously awaiting updates regarding my soon to be built JT! Just curious! :)
I hope you’re right! I’ve been watching for updates religiously and it does seem like we’re getting close. I contacted my salesperson earlier today for any updates and he didn’t have any to share. No updated build date or anything. I’d love to get my hands on mine by the end of Nov. Here’s hoping!
Yours went into production after the strike began? You might be the first person I’ve seen that’s had that happen with a gladiator. It seemed like most of the JTs that have been delivered post-strike, were already built awaiting final inspection around the beginning of the strike
Seems like a significant amount of wear for 2 years. If you’re happy with it though and feel that you’ve got your moneys worth thats all that matters :)
I’m at scheduled still. The date my dealer had for the build to be completed has been pushed back 1 time by 2 weeks. Currently sitting at 10/13 I believe for the build completion. Which isn’t gonna happen but we shall see!
I’ve been seeing a Punk’n Wrangler Sahara driving around my area more and more lately. It’s the only Punk’n I’ve actually seen up close and only while driving. But man I agree with @Cspence. This wait is getting tough!
I’m following your thinking, and it feels logical. I’ve got my fingers crossed for the both of us! I do wonder how many vehicles they’ve fallen behind on during the strike period and how much extra buffer time needs to be added in to catch up with those. Over on the JL forums there are people...
I hope that date works out for you, though I suspect that date was automated after you flipped to scheduled. My dealer had a date for me after mine when scheduled. That day is today lol. I’m pretty sure mine hasn’t even started being built. Much less ready to ship.
Just saw a window sticker and a built 2023 Mojave in Punk’n on a gladiator FB page. So apparently there have been Punk’n gladiators built prior to the strike?! Interesting.
FCA just had a 1.9%/72mos incentive on sport models last month. There is a dealer near me offering 0% for 72 months, but you supposedly can’t get the 10% incentives that are currently being offered in addition to the financing offer. Unfortunate because I’d jump all over some of the vehicles...
