My friends own Pollard Jeep in Boulder and they are also accommodating to modified Jeeps. Hell they sold me my JT with the lift and 35's already installed as a dealer package.
Congratulations! I'm partial to the color as well...was never interested in white before, but the contrast with black accessories is very sharp and it sure does stay looking cleaner longer than other colors I've owned.
I 2nd what Kevin (the Author) has previously stated and I add that it also inhibits the ability to attach a waterslide to the front of the vehicle, because you clearly have a predisposition for clown cars if you put this on your Jeep!

Those look like rubber expansion nuts. I would bet you just push it through and keep pressure against the plate as you tighten each corner equally. Google expansion nut.
