Really sad that Mike Howe is no longer with us... Loved his vocals!
  3. Is it me, or does the JT really struggle...

I'm completely happy with the power for this 3.6L. It's very comparable to the 4.0L in my Grand Cherokee. Certainly plenty of power for anything I need it for. I was just demonstrating to my wife how well it gets up and goes, even at road speed when needing to pass. I've towed my 5x10 cargo...

I saw them at Annie's in Cincinnati in 2003 along with Dream Theater and Fate's Warning. It was an awesome show!

  7. RUNNING BOARD

I was originally looing at those as well, but I'm opting for the Hooke Road instead, as their side steps look to offer two advantages over this Tyger model... Full length rock slider protection as well as potential door ding protection. That's the last thing I want, is to get a stupid door ding...
  8. Dealer Oil Change Issue

Yeah, I learn something new everyday... Just got one on eBay... https://www.ebay.com/itm/184299733653?epid=7017013168&hash=item2ae91ec295:g:UxYAAOSwEmNextg-

  10. Dealer Oil Change Issue

Yeah...I'm thinking I'll be doing my own oil changes and give a wave at the 3 free dealer ones. For no more effort it is for DIY, it's worth the time to know it's done correctly. One of the biggest problems dealerships are having at the moment is getting enough qualified techs doing the service...

Not much of a drinker...I can buy a 12 pack and it'll last over a month. I have all sorts of liquor that just sits for years. I do like a good craft from small breweries and a good bourbon or single malt scotch once in a blue moon.
  12. Drive through car wash... spraying inside the cab

I run mine through an auto wash at least a couple times a week with no issues. Great thing about their vacuums...when I open the doors up, those suckers literally suck up all of the water sitting along the door jam area.
  13. Am I the only one who thinks Jeep should’ve included an in dash CD player?

No... The cell phone holder I bought for my last vehicle actually fit in the CD slot, since it wasn't being used any longer. Since the JT doesn't have a CD player, now I have to come up with a new solution for a cell phone holder...that is my only reason to have one. ;) Like others, I ripped...
  14. Gun guys (and gals)

Yeah...back around 2005 I bought 3 cases of ammo, around $130 per case. Each case has two spam cans , totaling 880 rounds. I think I have at least two cases left, but damn if it's not so ridiculously expensive now...wish I had bought more at that time. And this ammo is steel core, so I've...
  15. Any good detectives out there?

I'd spend twice as much and get some metal ones...
  16. Gun guys (and gals)

Yep...I'm an advocate of everyday carry...if my username didn't give a little bit of a hint. ;) Thankfully, I live in the country and have enough property to target shoot, both handguns and rifles. If you don't hear some gunfire in the distance, something is seriously wrong in my area. :rock...
  17. When do you have your doors on/off?

I don't know where you obtain your information, but you are wrong...and if the murders aren't with firearms, it's with knives or some other weapon. https://concealednation.org/2017/02/report-most-mass-shootings-happen-outside-the-us/ The Second Amendment is in place for a variety of...
  18. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I received my Gladiator sticker in the mail yesterday, so I was able to put it on to balance out the Military Star on the other side.
