I'm thinking it would need more than just a matte clear coat to reduce the intensity of the lights. I was looking at various window tints and also may try a frosted film, as that should adequately diffuse the light.

My wife noted yesterday how bright the lights are on the sun visors to the point where it is actually difficult to see yourself in the mirror. I was thinking of maybe putting in a switch to allow the turning of the lights on and off, but was also thinking of maybe lining the lenses with a film...

Of all of the domestics, I'd say PBR would be the one I'd choose over the others. But, It would have to be in the bottle. Like most any beverage, it is just not as good in the can. I question any grown man that likes it in the can. ?
