Were you concerned about reducing available weight for cargo when towing by putting on steel bumpers? And I think a winch is a non-option now (max tow + epro 19fbs).

In the process of buying a Flagstaff 19FBS (the same trailer you have with the different Forest River brand name). Will be pulling with a JTS Max Tow (and the Curt Echo was just delivered by Amazon).

You answered my question before I posted it - that when going from a plastic Sport bumper, adding a skid plate is not required (but probably recommended)?
So you never use reverse (I was a passenger in a pu truck with bikes/rack in back - assumed my friend was going to check mirror and backup cam; by the time I mentioned there was a car behind us……at least the bikes were not damaged)?
I bought my 2010 JKU from Tate in Frederick; so I went back and bought the 2021 JT from them. Hope that means all the Tate dealers are good!

Back when I got my 2010 JKU, a company called Pavement Ends made retro (and very affordable) bumpers. They are still in business but don’t do bumpers any more. A shame.
