Sorry to hear about the experience. I have a 2021 Mojave with 14k+ miles, and so far not one single issue. I'm hoping this continues for another 200k+ miles ;)
Well I hope this is the end of the issues and I can just move on and enjoy the truck, got it back from the dealer and so far no leaks or noises yet. Also nice to see another Trailer Park Boys fan.

So they texted me back saying they think its residual gear oil from the axle shaft replacement, I don't buy it at all. I have replaced axle seals and bearings without any "residual oil" and they claim they are still trying to test drive it for the brake knocking. I can already tell I am going to be going back there again with a leaking axle seal. I have about had it with this.
I would also add to the possible solutions: if things go sideways again, try a different dealership.

I wouldn't say its breaking down, it just has problems that are annoying and should be fixed easily, its just not be handled by the right technicians.
Try a different dealership?

Have you talked to the service manager directly yet?

I was getting the runaround recently from a car dealer on my wife's vehicle. They were offering a loaner car sometime after Thanksgiving, but the vehicle wasn't safe to drive with the current issue and weather.

I asked to talk to the service manager several times, but they wouldn't connect me. I finally got irritated and drove to the dealership and walked directly into his office, walking right around the service advisors desk as I did so.

I layed out what was going on, why it wasn't safe, and what I needed them to do about it.

It took the service manager 10 minutes to have the keys to a loaner in my hand. The repair took 3 days due to the rarity of the failed part.

None of that would have happened without direct manager intervention, the service writers weren't going to get it resolved.

Yes I did talk to the service manager, they didn't give me any grief. At this point I'm just moving on and if I notice anymore oil on the axle I'll just take it back to have warranty replace it. For now it seems fixed.

When it comes to those phantom noises and handing our vehicles over to the techs to find what it is in the brief moments they are allotted, which isn’t much and why we read their reports “can’t duplicate noise” etc, we need to do this homework ourselves then once we located where noises are coming from, we can then say with certainty where it’s coming from and the techs can then focus time and energy where it’s needed.

This can only be done by, 1. Not guessing and 2. By using sensors that can hone in on the noise.

Check this unit out on YouTube and it’s a must for any engaged vehicle owner that doesn’t mind tackling the noise mysteries before giving it to the dealership that has no time to diagnose.

Thanks for your advise, I told the service writer I was going to monitor the rear axle and if I notice more gear oil I will bring it back. I keep all the repair orders so I have proof what was looked at. Also I like your user name "FormerToyotaGuy"
Yeah, definitely keep records, we had dates of when wifes car went in who we talked to especially once we noticed this was going to be a problem...
The FormerToyotaGuy goes all the way back to when I was FormerJeepGuy going from my YJ to a Toyota FJ on those forums and later a Tacoma LOL .........pretty much always end up with a Toyota or a Jeep. Loved my FJ but missed a bed. Bought 3rd gen Tacoma (it was ok) but if you could take a Jeep and mate it with a Tacoma bed...hey wait Gladiator :) couldn't be happier

Another point I would like to make is why the techs at the dealer have not talked to an engineer or advisor from jeep about these repeat problems? I work for Toyota and we have a tech line where if we have a persistent problem with a customer's car we can contact an engineer and get them involved.
We do, I’m a Mopar Tech. It’s called STAR, but they are useless when it comes to this stuff, we already tested everything they ask us to and they basically just give us permission to fire parts cannons

Thank you! We have MAXIMUM of 50 minutes to look at a vehicle, everything after that we don’t get paid for. It’s IMPOSSIBLE for us to diagnose “noise at times while driving” without just shooting ourself in the foot and not get paid. As much as we want to help EVERY customer, we need to be able to get paid too

Update in case anyone is following, I've been checking the axle seal all week and still have not seen any leaks so that's good, another thing I did was I put the truck on my shop lift and tightened the track bar bolts, they were not as tight as they should be. Have not heard the front end brake noise since then so maybe it was because the track bar was loose. ?‍♂

Well hopefully the problems are behind you and you can start to enjoy the truck. I know first hand when you buy a new vehicle and you loose the "trust". I bought a new 3rd Gen Tacoma (first year of that new body style) in April 16. Come November we had a lot of rain, the back passenger area covered in water WTF ...took it into dealership and was like" Um new truck shouldn't be doing this". Toyota made it right, come to find out it was leaking through the rear cab light. I also made them replace headliner since it got soaked but every since when I had it I always was waiting for other shoe to drop.
