in short, no not really. I can’t point it down as much as I would like. With the flood lenses it doesn’t really matter and still lights up the ground better than my factory head lights. Although It is set at the perfect angle to blind the shit out of people that cut me off.
There’s a thread or how to take the backing off of the hood scoop, but it is a straight forward op. Yes unless you’re really hood with molded plastic a little bit of cutting is required.
the flashpaq made a day and night difference as far as power goes. currently with 35's and the basic (87) tune on it ive got more low end TQ and power than i ever had with the 33's.... by alot.
i would definitely recommend it, and the improved MPG is just a side effect of actually having enough...
1. MBRP cat back exhaust (muffler sits flush and tucked into the frame)
2. New windshield (damn semi trucks)
3. Baja 10" onX light bar mounded inside the hood scoop.
4. 35" general X3 & American racing AR201 rims
5. flashpaq tuner - im getting 17.5 mpg around town on 87 after the 35's

those clips are not meant to come off, so they have to be permanently removed. if you are careful about it you can take it apart cleanly enough to reassemble with adhesive if you change your mind.
So I had a very similar idea, glad other Mojave’s have done it, ended up using a 10” Baja designs OnX, and bonded studs to secure it…. Let’s just say it took some massaging of the mounts to make it all fit.
