Agreed. Just noting things I have tried to rule out anything possible.
I may pull my carrier bearing spacer to rule that out as well, Although the pinion angle measures perfectly.
Welp,
Just got my truck back from the alignment. It is all within spec. The vibration is still there and very obnoxious at 24-29 MPH. You can feel it in the whole truck. I tried 4 high 4 low, lockers, they all do it. Doesn't matter if the truck is under load, coasting in neutral, up hill...
Appreciate it, I ended up going with a 1 inch Terraflex on the front with Arcus and 12k Warn and a full size spare underneath. Measuring the rock sliders, I still have just a touch of rake. If I did it again I'd install a 1/2. I bought both but did the 1 inch last second. With the front...
Here is a photo of it sitting in my driveway. It looks like it is definitely not horizontal.
With the "no limits" link that I was sent it is as short as it can be. There wouldn't be a way to get it to adjust down to horizontal.
You can see the reservoir hose in that photo as well and how...
Adding onto my questions above. I tried to get this answered through RK but didn't get a straight clear answer. Got the Jeep out and tried to get it to limit out so I could check all of the clearances and bump stops etc. The only issue I see is the front "No Limit sway bar links" are...
Gearing debates are literally the thing that might break the internet :) . Mine is a diesel and I feel the opposite. I want the truck to shift effortlessly and not run around under load at 12-1300 RPM hoping it shifts down. With the hills here in the Seattle area it is a stark difference stock...
I'm having the same exact vibration on my 37 inch Ridge Grapplers. I posted in the other thread mentioned above earlier today. The vibration is from 24-29 MPH both up and down in speed like clockwork. The vibration is there in neutral as well through those speed ranges so I don't feel it is...
I am just starting on this path. I haven't had a chance to really "feel" it out yet :) It isn't horrible but a touch annoying. If I find that nothing is out of place and it is truly just the feel of the tread I will make the decision at that point. The Ridge Grappler checks so many of my...
Well after getting my lift and 37's installed and driving it around in the Pacific Northwest hilly areas all weekend I will definitely be regearing. It just feels like it's fighting to stay on top and you have to modulate the throttle to encourage it to downshift etc. This to me is not great...
Took it out to a ditch at the park across the street to check clearances, bump stops, shock travel on my fresh RK lift installation before driving it down to get an full alignment! She flexes nicely! Still a few inches left of travel but that is all the ditch would allow. Super pumped to get...
So I just built up a Rubicon with a RK 3 inch X-factor lift and 37 inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I am experiencing the exact same vibration as the OP. It happens like clockwork every time from 24-29 MPH going up in speed and going down in speed. It does not really ripple through the steering...
I'd love to get a 1/4 set to actually put between the frame and the Arcus winch tray to move the winch away from the grill. My Warn 12S presses into the grill. I added some felt but it would relieve so pressure. Would probably need to open up the holes in the tray on the inside bolts.
Let me...
I installed my 3 inch X-Factor lift on my JTRD last weekend and came across that the "No Limit" links in the front would only go to 11 3/4 center to center when bottomed out vs the directions stating 11 inches. I know I ran across someone in this thread that had also posted the same question...
Installing a 3 inch RK X-factor on my diesel Saturday. Thinking of either 1/2 or 1 inch spacer. I want to leave a touch of rake. Lighter Arcus bumper and Warn 12s.
Did you guys get any photos you could share?
Are both the racks in posts above the 48 inch long rack? Any reasons to go 48" vs the 56" I'm leaning towards the 56 inch. I'm looking to have it be similar to bed length and I figure I can always cut a few inches out of the 56 but can't stretch the 48....
