Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but it's right in the manual. Page 207. The manual can tow 4,000 pounds and the Automatic can tow 4500 pounds. That's assuming you have a class IV hitch. If you have the Overland with the factory tow page, you can tow 6000 pounds.
I have a overland 2020 without the tow package. From what I understand, my max towing capacity is 4000 pounds. I've also read that if I add a class 4 hitch, the towing capacity goes to 4500. My question is if there is anything else i can do to increase towing capacity. Perhaps changing gears or...
This might seem like a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. I have an Overland with the outlet behind the center console but not in the truck bed. Couldn't I tap into the center console outlet and run a wire through the frame to another outlet installed in the bed? It seems like it should work...
I gotta admit that I'm a little jelly seeing those F-150s power entire houses down here in Texas. I was using a 4000 watt generator in the back yard when we lost power but it was loud as hell. I have a 2000 watt inverter that I want to install in my gladiator but I don't know if it's better to...
I like that setup. The Traeger has solid legs that don't fold but I can probably modify them to make them shorter and more portable. Thanks for the ideas guys.
I have a nice little Traeger that I want to take to the fire station some days since the grill up there sucks. It weighs around 100 pounds so I'm going to make a simple ramp to get it in and out the gladiator. I wanted to know if anyone has any interesting mods with hauling their grill. I've...
I've tried that and it does work a bit better. I'd just prefer to be in the back seat since it's harder to be spotted. Also, it should be noted that I'm in Texas so sleeping in the bed or tent during the day isn't an option. I'd wake up a boiled egg lol.
I get a lot of down time on one of my jobs so I've started taking naps in the back of my gladiator. It's painful to say the least and I'm only 5'9". I've thought about taking out the resr storage divider to give me a little more time but I wanted to see if anyone knows of anything I could buy to...
Was your top the color matched top or the default black? I'm thinking about getting my default black top line x'd to red to match the truck if that's even possible.
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post but Advance Auto Parts are clearing out a bunch of their Power Converters. I just scored a 2000 watt for $53 and just picked it up. I'll be putting it in my Gladiator next week. Hopefully this helps someone out...
I have the factory Mopar cover. The bed stays dry and it's easy to fold it back when I need the space. I don't like the look of it but it does the job for now. I'm toying with the idea of getting the Diamondback since I used to have one on my F-150. It's hard the justify the price for several...
I have an Overland with a 2 inch Mopar Lift and 35 inch Falken Wildpeak ATs. My MPG is 14-15 but I only have 2500 miles on the truck. I was told that the MPG should go up after the engine is "broken in". My ride is pretty good for a jeep. Not too much road noise although it is more audible...
You're right about Red drawing a lot of attention. I knew I didn't want to get black since IMO, they show dirt too easily. My wife talked me into Red and after 3 months, I'm still not used to all the attention that it draws. I used to hate it since I'm a really low key guy but it's forced me to...
