I had a packrat eat the engine temperature sensor wiring on my 3.5L Ford Explorer, which happens to fall under the intake manifold. It does fall under the Comprehensive part of your insurance policy.
They will lose about 150 dealers; however, I read that those dealers will get about $300K if they leave. I read the reason isn't because they had to sell at a set price, it is because they would all need to invest $200K in infrastructure to support servicing and charging the all electric Cadillac.
Those waiting to get their Bronco will wait a little longer...

What am I missing when trying to track my order?
I plug in my VIN, and I get a Not Found, Not Found for the build and sticker. I get that because it's too early to see anything with an order on 11/17/2020 and a VIN on 11/20/2020.
Since I have a VIN, I believe it is in 'D' status.
Where can...
My 4-door Norcold fridge in my motorhome which runs on propane when the motorhome isn't plugged into 120/240V AC. It has two 120V heaters internal to the fridge to keep everything cold when on AC power, each one is 225W (450W total).
If your fridge was pulling anything close to 450W on DC, you...
I ordered a JTR diesel this week, MSRP is $60,605, FWP is $57,107. I expect to pay $52,556, 8% below invoice. Right now there is no rebate on the JTRs where I live. I should also be able to apply the first responder discount or any other rebates on top of that, if they exist when I take...
There is a good write up here:

It seems very complicated.
I would not be surprised that the bedliner is the holdup. Daniel told me that when he tried to add the bedliner to my order, it was no longer available as an item he could add.
Having Jeep not do the bedliner is not a problem, I'll just get it done locally.
There is a great thread on DYI Bedrail System at

If you want a lot of very flexible tie downs, look at this post (#15 on page 1):

I put my deposit down today with Daniel on a Hydro-Blue JTR!
Hopefully it comes in sooner than 8-10 weeks, but I suspect it will be the 10 weeks due to the holidays.
Thanks!
I will install a steel bumper (and winch) myself. I will be flat towing this behind my motorhome. I would rather get a steel bumper that I can hook my tow bar up to directly, rather than getting a bracket that mounts below the bumper.
I'll look into Line-X!
I'm satisfied that I'll get everything above but without the heated mirrors with a Rubicon. The spray in bedliner is currently not available to order on a Rubicon.
My order is this:
I'm very close to ordering a Rubicon Diesel. There are a few option I want, but based on what I read at jeep.com, I don't think can be found as an option on a Rubicon.
Universal garage door opener
Power Heated Mirrors
Tailgate Lock (electronic) - Manual lock is OK
Apple Car Play on the 8.4"...
I can't answer cursing at 90mph... but per the online specification, Jeep limits the Rubicon at 97 mph, there is no differentiation between the gas and diesel. This data is from the interior specifications, safety and security systems. The same 97 mph applies to the Mojave and Willys. The...
Here is a question... What would you consider to be an acceptable documentation fee?
There is an Orlando dealership that charges $999.00 as a documentation fee, and they try to justify it with a straight face and say people pay it every day.
It's not the same dealership mentioned above. On top...
