I can not imagine any Police officer would stop you for having your tailgate down and not being able to see the 3rd brake light. It would be a rare officer that would probably even know or care that one was required by law, there are just too many more important things for them to worry about...
I assume that a large part of the Gladiator was developed along side the JL combining the development costs over two vehicles. The rear end of the frame was said to be a modified RAM/possible new Dakota frame again combining the development costs across two vehicles. If they are able to utilize...
I would hope, considering the price increase of the JL over the JK already and the fact that you can assume the JT was developed alongside the JL, there would not be much of a premium but I do not have much hope I am right. With the constant chant of lifestyle vehicle in all of the interviews...
It is offered for the sport s too but not the sport. Seems odd for it not to be listed for all of them if you choose the soft top although I suppose you could just get it later if you wanted it no matter which model you bought.
Shoot just come to my local dealership. You could wonder around the lot all day long, getting in and out of everything there and they will NEVER come out to talk to you. On the other hand you can go back on Sunday when they are closed and find several of the Wranglers unlocked and take your time...
You are right the Ridgeline dose not have a locking tailgate but mine has an easily installed aftermarket power lock and a locking steel tonneau cover. Honda has recently released a tailgate lock for the Ridgeline so it will probably come on the truck sooner than later.
Dose it really matter? I don't mean to be dismissive but if some dirt bag is cutting your top to get into your truck what is to stop them from just prying open the tonneau cover too? Unless the cover is solid steel, and I assume that it will probably be ABS or fiberglass or whatever the hard top...
I am in Joplin MO, within driving distance to OKC. I have 2 dealers close, one won't talk to me but the other said he would give me a good deal when ordering opens. I just have to see what he considers a good deal. If you get a good deal in OKC I will be happy to make the drive.
I am hoping it comes to Kansas City in March, close enough for me to go to. Since it has been announced/shown in LA dose it make sense that they would take it to all of the upcoming shows?
That is what I was really hoping for too, I really can not see why they could not make it a roll down window. I am a little disappointed but i guess a little sliding window is better then no sliding window.
Isn't this just a similar set up to the JL? I believe there are fabric covered corner panels that you need to take off separately from the plastic back window on it so why would they want to make two different setups if they could use the same parts for both?
I honestly don't care what it ends up looking like this is the color for me! I am very happy to see a non metallic, not bright (no offense to Mojito fans it looks nice but it just is not the color for me) green and what I see on the Jeep site looks great to me.
