  1. Why does the Gladiator not have a steel wheel option?

With the knowledge that a significant percentage of all new Jeeps get aftermarket wheels and tires either before delivery or not long after delivery, why do they not have a steel wheel option to keep the cost down for those that are just going to put bigger wheels and tires on anyways?
  2. “Jeep wave issues”

Can if you want. Who's gonna stop you?
  3. Is this REALLY worth it?

Diesels are cool and I love mine. That being said, your use case will matter a lot in whether you will be happy or not. Running empty most of the time - Gas is probably slightly better due to lower maintenance costs, but at stock ride height and HT tires, the diesel can net you near 30mpg...
  4. “Jeep wave issues”

There are no shortage of waves around here. The worst part for me is to remember who to wave at when I am switching between the Jeep and the motorcycle.
  5. My friend saw this in Charlotte.

Just goes to show that money can't buy taste.
  6. Brake Controller issues.

On mine, I mounted my Primus straight above the gas pedal, as far to the right as I could get it. I even had some Z-clips from a trailer wiring kit that made it a no drill installation.
  7. How are you guys seeing what gear you're running in?

Is is in the screen setup for the center screen. It should add a little number after the D to show the current gear.
  8. Bandit Edition Gladiator

I am... okay with this. It could use some turbine wheels with the dopey black wheel covers to complete the look, though.
  9. Free headliner tip

Oddly enough, I thought my sunshade did way more for noise control on it's own than I would have ever expected.
  10. What do you guys think of red wheels with the pearl blue

One of the local Jeep dealers uses those exact rims as part of their overpriced upfit packages so I forever associate them with making a good looking Jeep gaudy.
  11. Key Fob Follies

Quick question on the key fob. I got the factory Mopar key fob soft case for mine but I can't figure out how to get it to fully zip up with the fob inside. Is there a certain way that you have to turn it to get it to fit or do you just line the slanted side up with the case?
  12. Dealers sticking to prices more?

It's weird. Here in IL, our local dealer is selling them like hotcakes. Apparently, they were moving JT's faster than the JL's. All of the Gladiators that were on the lot when I bought mine (4) were gone and replaced with different ones within 2 weeks. In that time, only one of the 4 or 5...
  13. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Took my WK to the shop to get a new motor, today. 5.7 Hemi - I'm here for a good time, not for a long time.
  14. Diesel owners; do you regret you engine choice?

Mine is averaging about 27.5ish when I am not towing. It's showing right at 500 miles of range from a full tank.
  15. Fake trim levels?

Aaah, so that's what a Ranger Over looks like.
  16. Fake trim levels?

If you are going to have the wrong decals on your Jeep, you might as well make everyone's head explode.
  17. Fake trim levels?

I'm more offended by them completely skipping the word "your" in the title, than anything.
  18. Fake trim levels?

One of the things that sold me on my Overland was the lack of any hood decal. They look kind of cool, but it seems like people get way too wrapped up in what option package they get on these things.
  19. If you could pick the hood, standard Sport style, Rubicon or Mojave?

Sport. Not all Jeeps have to look like a race car to look good.
  20. Really want a Gladiator but having trouble taking the plunge - help me do it!

If you need a truck to do truck things with, then a Gladiator is a pretty good option. I came from a full-size truck, and although the footprint is only a little smaller, it is much more nimble to get around in. If you are worried about wind noise, then the hard top option should keep the...
