  1. Shock extensions with taller coil springs?

I currently have a 3.5” lift with falcon 2.1 shocks rated for 2-3.5” of lift. I’m going to be upgrading to the evo 4.5” HD coil springs and was wondering if it would be possible to just add shock extensions to my current shocks until I’m able to upgrade my shocks as well? Has anyone done this or...
  2. Options for leveling with overall suspension improvement

I would say probably not. .75” spacers are going to have your axle off center by less than .25”.
  3. Teach me about Jeep suspension

Hey Austin! With a leveling kit (I’m assuming you have the 1.5” teraflex kit) you don’t necessarily need anything else. With lifts in general the higher you go the more parts you need to correct geometry. Most leveling kits only adjust the height of the front end. When you raise the front end...
  4. Top quality lift under 2 inches

By “negative impact on the ride” I’m not talking spring harshness. Obviously the spring rate is the same by only adding spacers with the same amount of weight on top of them. When you add distance between the axle and the frame by lifting the jeep with spacers OR springs you are changing the...
  5. Top quality lift under 2 inches

OP is asking for options <2” and unfortunately there are not many options for this other than spacers which will negatively impact ride quality. The Clayton kit I linked will resolve some of the issues you would normally get just using spacers (front upper control arms correct caster for...
  6. Top quality lift under 2 inches

If all you are doing is using spacers then yes. This kit includes taller springs, longer end links, upper control arms to correct geometry, and a track bar to re center your axle.
  7. Top quality lift under 2 inches

I’d look into Clayton off-road 1.5” leveling kit. Includes front springs, control arms, track bar, and end links. https://www.claytonoffroad.com/product/jeep-gladiator-15-leveling-kit-2020-jt
  8. Body vs frame mount sliders

Just picked up the Evo bomber rockers with rock skins. Have a moab trip planned for the end of May so I’ll post an update afterwards.
  9. Options for leveling with overall suspension improvement

Got it, I would recommend something like this to get your flex right in the front and a small spacer in the rear. https://www.claytonoffroad.com/product/jeep-gladiator-15-leveling-kit-2020-jt You could also look for some rubicon take off shocks to pair with it.
  10. Options for leveling with overall suspension improvement

Fully agree with this. Wait a little while and do it right the first time. You’re going to spend more money in the long run doing this in stages and you most likely will not be happy with the performance of spacers/ shock extensions if you actually do crawl rock beds and trails. Just my 2 cents...
  11. What do I need to properly have 37's

The Mopar lift fox shocks have more travel to account for the additional lift. Other than that I’m not sure if there are any differences.
  12. What do I need to properly have 37's

At minimum I would say wheel spacers and 2 inches of lift. Do you have the max tow package? Axles should be the same as a rubicon if so.
  13. Dealer service story , ESS related .

I’m also having the ESS issues. Message always shows as “not ready, battery charging”. I also do not care about the feature but want to avoid it taking out the main battery. Curious does anyone know if I simply disable ESS altogether using a tazer Will this solve the issue of ESS potentially...
  14. DIY Drawers

Awesome setup! I’m also interested in your cap lighting. Are you tied into the bed lights? I have been thinking of doing something with LED strip lights in the ceiling with a switch that has a time-out built in in case the lights are left on. Any info on your setup is appreciated!
  15. DIESEL 2-2.5" lift kit suggestions

I am running the Clayton off-road 3.5” overland plus kit on my 21 JTRD. At the time of purchase they did not have diesel specific springs but they do now. I got the kit during holiday pricing and it was bundled with falcon monotube shocks and a Currie currentlync tierod and drag link. So far I...
  16. 1st baby right around the corner. Is there anything I can do to make my Gladiator safer?

Just became a dad a couple of months ago. My best advice would be to find a car seat that fits in the middle rear (safest location) that will also still allow you to keep your front seats in a comfortable position. The car seat we purchased is pretty long when used with its base so it will not...
  17. RSI Smartcap

My window seals are holding up great and my dogs love the side windows.
  18. Camping with your Gladiator

Definitely the cheapest “toy hauler” out there. You can also pull the tent out and use it as a walled utility trailer.
  19. Camping with your Gladiator

We do a lot of camping in the warmer months here in Utah. I tow a 12 foot jumping Jack trailer with A side by side loaded on top.
