  1. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

    D60's + Beadlocks + Hydraulic Steer = complete
  2. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Thank you. I will post more in about 2 weeks or so when everything is finished. This truly will be a "new truck" when done. Here is a side view from a 2 weeks ago.
  3. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Yes, have bumpsteer. I do appreciate the input. I'm sure it is at least contributing to the wobble. I am currently just sucking it up and not driving the truck until I have the 60's and everything else put on.
  4. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Sir, you must've read up to where I wrote about the trussing, but, if you keep going, I have ordered D60's, etc.. Trussed 44's are not enough for my build.
  5. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Those improvements are perfect. I want to do onboard air as well but my problem is where to put it. I use the bed for hauling kiddo stuff with me and dont want to lose that space and I fully intend to use my rig for trails, rocks, etc so I do not want it hanging down under either. Once my...
  6. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

LOL ! I have been stuck building this thing and want to see it in action myself ! Soon, very soon. Probably about 2 weeks and I plan to start hitting up a few Texas trails for some badges.
  7. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

I sure hope not. Some lucky person is going to get a nice setup. I am just disappointed in myself for having to spend the time and money I did building this and wish I had been educated enough to go straight to the 60's. Expensive education but certainly learned.
  8. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Yes, upgrading the whole front. Here is a picture of the current Haha ! Yes, I think you are good ! Very nice
  9. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

I think building your D44's will be fine for 37's, but certainly do not take my amateur's word for it. I am admittedly new to all this and learning as I go. The consensus from what I've read and from speaking with folks during my build is that 37's are good to go with trusses on the...
  10. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Yes, I will be selling the front & back Dana 44's with trusses already welded on, 5.38 G2 gears, Powerstop big brake kit and HD ball joints paired with 40" Yokohama's on 20x12 wheels.
  11. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

I have certainly taken the long road to get where I am, having done many things backwards and many things done twice to correct first mistake. I have learned through this process how to truly build a capable rig so I view all of this as paying for the education I now have.
  12. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Steering is awful. No way of sugar coating it. Just bad. Yes, hydraulic steering is going in at same time of D60 swap. All done at once. Probably about a week away.
  13. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Yeah, I started with the liners, went back from there. I'm hoping when I do the D60 swap in the upcoming days the guys can find it then.
  14. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Have some serious rubbing on the arm, but 60's will be wider and should push out enough to eliminate this
  15. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Did a simple air down of tires to get more lugs/tread evened out and touching pavement and it has helped but not eliminated it. Work starts in a couple days and once the D60's go on, will be doing a rebalance of tires and alignment. Some tweaking/changing of geometry to other parts will be at...
  16. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Truss has been welded on. Too little too late though as I went ahead and placed my order for D60's with 5:38's, Eaton Lockers, Ram 3500 Brakes.
  17. 20' Overland - 6.5" + 43's

Good morning. My first post. Been reading the forum for a few weeks. Time to man-up, join and try to contribute. Great group of folks on here. Glad to be a part! 2020 White Overland - purchased May 1st 2020 - 5k miles (don't drive it much on pavement) - I knew I was going to build this...
