Bumper arrived today. UPS was not gentle with it. Left extension and 1 tow hook scuffed/ chipped to metal. Left Fog light bezel scuffed up also. Box was blown out at both ends. Can we fix this? Thanks

No, It sprays the rear window. I added a hardtop wiring kit to my JK and had to swap the pump for a included reversible one to spray the rear.

The the OP's case, No. It working as designed. In 50 degree garage at first startup, then in 30 degree weather at gas station.

They will turn on when it's 40 degrees and lower out. So it was over 40 when first started, then when you stopped for gas it was 40 or lower when you started back up.
