My Gladiator is currently being serviced for a broken front axle. No parts available, waiting for the whole front axle to be replaced. Been down since Sep 1. I'm sure this affected mine - but it is not on the recall by VIN. Hopefully none of you owners have to go through this.

Jeep San Diego, dealer doing service on my truck, calls me on status of my Gladiator. They said they replaced the loose wire/sensor. After trouble shooting truck is still bucking - they figured it is a broken axle. A whole new front axle is being ordered, part will be delivered in about 1wk...

Thanks for the heads up. I'm just very hesitant to invest money into this truck - an injury early in the game isn't good. I scored for 7% off invoice, depreciation should not effect me.

I'm sure that's what it probably was doing. At 65+mph and feeling it buck with a locking sensation - I'm just saying, more than a wire had to have been damaged. Damage I don't want creeping up on me after my warranty expires or if I put a lift kit - Jeep claiming the issue came from the lift...

What was the outcome with your "service axle locker system" indicator? Driving on the highway I heard a thump up front followed by check service axle locker system indicator.
