    Using a WDH, you should be able to get back to within an inch of drop. You may need to adjust your hitch.

    Short answer, Yes you should get a weight distribution hitch for a 4K load. The sway control and weight distribution are separate components, although they are sometimes packaged together. You should also probably have a brake controller for towing that weight as well.

    Here is the weight slip for my 2021 Rubicon diesel, full fuel and me in the drivers seat. It is a couple hundred pounds more than the chart from the original post.
