Ordered this on Black Friday and forgot about it. Just did the install…minutes…just plug and play and zip tie up the wires. Already had the saddle tray that goes in that area and there was perfect little spot for it. Tested the different modes and can really tell the difference. Mainly interested in Eco for highway (and off road…slower throttle response is suppose to be helpful), and the Security feature where it renders your throttle unresponsive. Will see how it works out long term.

We love our Hike-it in our JTR diesel. It really changes the whole driving experience.

I installed mine a few days after getting the Gladiator.

I found that I didn't mind the factory throttle response. I've got it in Cruise 8 now and it helps a bit.

Overall I'd not spend the money for it if I knew it was so subtle. But will play with it for a while. Either way, for $119 its worth a shot.

It does what its supposed to do. I guess the value may be lost on me because I found the factory throttle mapping to be good.

love mine, got the black friday sale too and it really wakes up the JT. I keep it on auto and have been enjoying it. Haven't wheeled with it yet but will def use economy for lighter response when doing so.

Based on your post, I tried economy mode. Specifically the least aggressive E1. And. wow is it a great mode to use when driving in an urban area. Super smooth and definitely helps me to moderate my normal aggressiveness when driving.

I took it up on the highway and switched to auto and it ws great too. Thanks.
