Lease is based on a few things, selling price, money factor and residual value.
Selling price is negotiated just like with a purchase.
Money Factor (MF) is the interest rate. Banks/ finance companies offer a base rate which the dealer can mark. Can be negotiated to base rate. You can also pay...
You're getting 20% off of MSRP and you think it's "not a bad price". I'm guessing $2k is Jeep, the rest is dealer discount. Probably better than the invoice minus 8% dealer order (qualifier, haven't done the actual math).
You can buy your Glad at the end of the lease. This amount is stated in your lease.
You can modify a leased vehicle, but will need to return it in stock trim.
Check out the forum on leasehackr.com. Tons of good info and answers to most of the questions you may have.
There's a mistake somewhere, either yours or theirs. Daniel does tons of these with many many happy customers. I'd guarantee you they're not trying to screw you.
There's some basic misunderstanding going on in this thread. The dealer doesn't provide the warranty and frankly isn't the arbitrator of what is or isn't a valid warranty claim. The warranty is provided by Jeep. If the dealer says it's not a warranty claim, what they're really saying is we won't...
How long did the install take you guys? This fixes one of my 2 major pet peeves on my JLU, no auto up windows.
Now if only I can figure out how to toggle up and down thru preset radio stations.
