Nope, I had & felt no indication of an issue. After the replacement, the clutch engagement did "feel" more solid, but not much of a noticeable difference. But a free clutch is not a bad deal & I do feel better about it all down there.
Installed the BAK Revolver X4 Hard Rolling cover. Great cover, love how it locks down both sides not using velcro or snaps to secure it. It uses factory mounting holes in the bed that do not interfere with and do not use the Trail Rails to mount.
I had the clutch replacement done. A bad rattle after they gave it back to me, it varied with temp and the quality of my shifts.. Took it back, it was a loose exhaust hanger bolt. Easy enough to fix yourself if you don't want to take it in.
I've not thought about taking it into the dealership for that. It's more something I notice versus something I'm concerned about. And I only notice it when I'm accelerating slowly.
Good or bad depends on the person listening. I hate the Honda fart can sound, it's definitely not that. After spending more time with it, I do like it. It seems to have mellowed out a bit after breaking in.
Well that took awhile, but it's done. It took 2 weeks for the dealership to get the parts, then another couple weeks to get a loaner for me since they wanted two full days to get the job done. But the new clutch assembly has been installed. I have it back and have driven it for a few days...
Since the only change they made so far is bleeding the lines, I didn't notice much. Maybe it feels like the clutch is grabbing quicker and holding stronger at let-off, but that may very well be my imagination as well. I'll report back once the clutch has been replaced.
