You mean the ring to allow shift into reverse? I have only seen red.

I think a manual will always tractor better uphill in low lock. The reason is that it never rolls backwards when you let off the gas like with an auto. I love my manual JTR off road. It is so much fun !

I notice a definite, not subtle, rattle that I'd guess comes from the transmission or transmission housing or mount or something, if I do a sloppy shift. Same as on my previous JK. I have no issue with it. Based on the sound I'm pretty sure it's not a loose tolerance on the inside of the transmission, but rather something coming from the outside, maybe on a sloppy shift the housing can bump up against a cable or something.
Like that ?

So I ended up doing a similar lift and asked on another thread which LCAs you used (the mopar lift extended ones) and now I have a follow up question. What are your camber specs at? I am at 7.3 and 7.5 which seems a little high. I'm considering switching back to stock LCAs to get the camber around 5.5-6.5

37x12.5x17 Goodyear MTR Kevlars with Method 703 "Bead Grip" rims. They are big, "true size" 37s.

Here they are compared to the Patagonia 37. The Goodyears are substantially bigger.

Looks killer. I can't decide on these or waiting for the AEV saltas. Did you go with the 4.75 or 5.78 backspacing?

The new Method 703 only currently comes in one size for the jeep - zero offset, 4.75. This was also Clayton's recommendation for their lift kit.

The bead grip is pretty amazing. The Goodyear's first mounted on the inner bead, then, it took a lot of air to pop them out to the correct outer bead. It seems like these rims will easily allow single digit air pressure !

The tires only stick out a little bit past the fender, only 1/2 a lug on the Goodyear MTR Kevlar

I just used the recommended Clayton specs for all their control arms and track bar and ended up with 5.7/5.8 deg. caster up front by my digital gauge. It rides great, even at 80 mph, and it does not seem like it needs an alignment

Hey guys, I have a manual JT Sport regeared to 5.13 on 37 inch nitto ridge grappler mts, when I get to about 2.5k rpm I intermittently hear a vibration/rattle coming from behind the left driverside dash area. Anyone else have anything like this happen? It increases in pitch as rpms increase but normslly stops around 3.5k, almost sounds like plastic gears or something?
