Yes indeed, probably the best application offered for 4x4. It's got a ton of functionality, so it takes a bit of getting used to, but we'll worth it.

Gaia is supported with carplay, but not currently with Android auto. Hopefully Gaia will develop this in future state.

Final update (hopefully): Received vehicle back last week with new camshaft phasers. All power has been restored and no check engine lights since. Service Appears to have resolved my issues, good luck to everyone else!
