In all my vehicles over the years, when bought new, and used as well, Iāve changed out oil with Amsoil Signature at 1k miles and immediately when used. Iāve used and still use Amsoil Signature synthetic for the life of the vehicle or as long as Iāve owned the vehicle. Iāve done this for 40 years...
Iād keep the gladiator. You are lucky, my wife would tell me my ābuttā has to go!šFYI, not sure if youāve researched the resale value of the Armada but it is one of the worst. Good luck choosing.
Itās not controversial at all but sweetbreads seems to want to make it that way. āTracking devicesā that can be removed or disarmed or not allowed are only part of the problem. Trackers installed for āsecurity and convenienceā in modern vehicles cannot be disarmed so there is no such thing as a...
Yup, just like a dozen other built in features on the new Jeeps. Like I said, if Iām worried about being tracked for any reason I will drive one of my older vehicles. Actually my new Jeep that is tied to the Jeep app sits most of the time anyway; but Iām sure someone will say something...
Alrighty then, let me get the Stellantis CEO on the horn and see if we can fix this whole lack of privacy thing. If you have any solutions then post them, otherwise you can keep your nasty comments to yourselfā¦.sweetums. Blocked.
Yes, very true. I keep my key fobs in faraday bags also. The only drawback to the faraday bag for the fob is locking inside the Jeep, if the fob is in the bag, since it cannot recognize that the fob is local. But, with the Jeep app (which some here use as I do) you can unlock the doors if an...
If you are worried about being tracked, buy a late ā90s or early 2000s Jeep and turn off your cell phone. As pointed here out by multiple posters, there are multiple ways you are being tracked through modern Jeeps.
Iād get the fender painted then apply PPF to protect from future dings (PPF on all 4 fenders). Applying PPF to areas you want protected is a good idea. Although costly, I did my entire hood, front grill and around the windshield for ~$1K. The best of luck to you.
Iām originally from Washington where you donāt tan you rust, and donāt have to put up with the road muck too much, but in recent years the roads have gotten so bad that the potholes are big enough to swallow up a small sedan. So, having a 4x4 is a must; Jeeps fill the need well and my Ram.
I agree that partial PPF works for most incidents and I had that on my previous JL, after 7 years still looking new. On my current JL I decided to do the entire hood and around the windshield for direct hits. I also agree a hood protector like a Bushwhacker is good for hood protection and...
Within the first week of owning my JL I had a detail shop apply Paint Protective Film (PPF) covering the entire hood, around the windshield and grill if needed. Itās the only best protection. A good detail shop will fix the nicks and apply the PPF so it looks transparent and it really protects...
