I also keep a record of every tank, old school notebook gets every fill-up written down and calculated. So far the computer agrees with my calculations. Oh and I have a hard top, and a hard tauno cover, I know from past trucks that later makes a huge difference.
I also have a stock manual, just a sport because I hate electric crap and it hates me too.
Took a 4hr drive a month ago, hit 4k miles finally and ever since city in 22, highway is currently averaging 25 mpg. Base level gas, only BP or Pilot though.
And the ESS permanently disabled.
Mostly it will be in finding some poor sucker like I was who won't notice or care that the Patriot doesn't have ac. Don't buy used in January.
I'm betting most people will care. It might be mine for life. But hey low mileage on it and great mpg. If I have to commute to the office again it may...
Fwiw it was the thermostat, it felt like fixing itself 1.95 hrs into a 2 hr drive back to my favorite mechanic. He looked it over said it was fine. Annoyingly I spent most of that drive shivering. Was a stupidly cold day for the end of March.
I did the hood disable. So far my overall mpg is improving. Range with ess was 377 miles. Range without 407 miles. I certainly wouldn't put the ess back to working order to lower my fuel efficiency. Went from 13 city to 21. No brainer on keeping this. And I did actual math on those numbers not...
On mine you can only see the odometer if you don't have cruise on. It shows up on the digital speedometer screen and on one of mpg screens, but nowhere at all if you use cruise.
I am hoping one of you can give me some advice on my Patriot, this winter the heat chose not to work.
Doesn't appear to be leaking fluid, topped off the fluid a month or so back, but hasn't helped at all. Do I need to do something to bleed out bubbles?
Is there only one form of antifreeze it...
Ernest was awesome, and definitely the most talented on the show. There were several people on it that pop up even on Bellisario tv shows today. Its rather cool looking for people before they made it big, or the people who were on the way out.
Incidentally, does any one know if Jeep was a...
I remember flying out of Tampa right after that storm, you could see the road rivers and waves from the air. Got like 18 inches of rain in an hour or something crazy like that.
I call IL home, but mostly in MO for now.
Are you referring to gaps around the tail gate?
If so theres a weatherstripping you can get for tailgates to stop the leakage, and it doesn't interfere with the gate function.
The first Gladiator I took for a test drive had these cool headliner pannels that appeared to hang off the roll cage, you put them up and turned a lever just like on the freedom panels. I have been searching for them ever since getting my truck, and can find no reference to that kind of thing...
Just to clarify the tonneau brackets fit the factory trifold tonneau? Can someone post pictures of what that looks like, please? Inside view, if you please.
Does it leak in the rain?
My last truck's tonneau always leaked, I don't want this one to start.
