I'd love to know what they use to value vehicles out there where you are at and convince Hanover County to use the same!

Our county uses NADA vale as of January 1st of the current year. Average trade in value supposedly. So I logged onto NADA on 1/1 and printed out a copy of my "value" as of 1/1/24. We shall see.

Yea we all hate it here. We have had two governors try and get rid of it, but were unsuccessful.

Hey @Lunentucker, how'd you do for this year? I just got ours for Hanover County VA and its effing ridiculous. 2022 Gladiator and a 2022 Grand Cherokee. $2500.

I’d push them to make sure everything is torqued down to spec and have them check your tires.

Dealer replaced my filler neck. Have not had the problem ever since. And mine was showing failing weld points and corrosion and I barley had 8 thousand miles on it.

Pretty sure the OEM has the body towards the wheel. Mine was when I replaced it.

I asked the same question a while back and was advised "Body towards the wheel, piston (boot) towards the center."

My 2022 has them on both sides.

You have a HA with 20 inch wheels and Bridgstone Duellers? If you do - have them check the tires. I had two bad tires that were out of round and would not balance. That caused my "wobble"

The Wildpeaks solved my issue. I had OEM Bridgestone Duellers on mine that were horrible. Doesn't matter really now because a few months later I got rid of the factory wheels and Wildpeaks for Mickey Thompson's and new wheels.

Have them check your factory tires. I went through this earlier this year. After throwing parts at my truck, they finally figured out I had two factory tires that we not only out of round, but they would not balance. They replaced them with Falken Wildpeaks and the problem...
