  1. Swapping LCA as a novice

Interesting. I am getting conflicting info on whether there is a benefit to adding these without any lift or level. Some are saying it will apply too much caster.
  2. Swapping LCA as a novice

So you added these without any lift or front end level?
  3. Is my backup cam blurry?

Mine is crystal clear. Way better then the F150 I had.
  4. Swapping LCA as a novice

So I assume those who added the longer Mopar LCAs had a front level done? I thought adding these with out a level up front was not a good idea?
  5. Torque Front lower control arm

Lol all good. Made me second guess myself for a sec. Had to go back and double check.
  6. Torque Front lower control arm

They end in AA, not AB. They are for the 2 inch lift. I’ll just hold onto them in case I go with a level down the road. thanks again! Mopar Front Lower Control Arm Part Number: 68322798AA The authentic Mopar Front Lower Control Arms from AllMoparParts are originally found in the Wrangler JL...
  7. Torque Front lower control arm

This may be a dumb question but I’ll ask it anyway- if I decide not to install the front spacer lift would I still gain any benefit by still installing the Mopar LCAs over the stock LCAs?
  8. Too much offset?

    285/70R17. Mickey Thompson Baja ATs.
  9. Too much offset?

+10 is what I went with and I think it is perfect.
  10. Dipping my toe in the modding water

I have never seen one on any dealer lot. Most I see are black, Sarge Green, or grey. I am sure as soon as the hit the dealership they are snagged up.
  11. Dipping my toe in the modding water

Yep my thoughts exactly with my truck. I like the way it looks right now without the level kit I was going to install. I may decide not to install it and just leave it the way it is. Only thing I have done is used JSCAN to change the tire size for the speedometer. Love your Jeep's color.
  12. Dipping my toe in the modding water

I got them from Discount Tire for a steal!
  13. Dipping my toe in the modding water

I was on the fence actually. I had thought about putting winter tires on them to swap out if we ever get the random bad winter in Virginia. I know the Baja Boss's are rated pretty good in the snow, but having dedicated winter tires is appealing.
  14. Dipping my toe in the modding water

New wheels and tires are on. Even just doing that made the stance look so much better. Discount Tire was awesome. my old HA wheels - I am not going to bother posting on the marketplace here lol. Has anyone with the OEM 20 inch wheels had any luck selling them somewhere else?
  15. Torque Front lower control arm

Ok so doable on the ground then. Was just thinking of using @ShadowsPapa method but could not tell from the pics if the tires were still touching the ground or not.
  16. Torque Front lower control arm

Bill, were the tires still on the ground when you did this?
  17. Dipping my toe in the modding water

For those of you who did the Teraflex 1.5 spacer lift in your garage or driveway using floor jacks and jack stands - how the heck did you re torque the lower control arm bolts back to 190 foot pounds? It has to be back on the ground with tires on and I have a good torque wrench (goes to 250)...
  18. Dipping my toe in the modding water

I think I am just going to stick with the Mickey Thompsons.
  19. Dipping my toe in the modding water

I am buying new wheels too. I am going from the 275/55R20s to 285/70R17s.
  20. Dipping my toe in the modding water

New dilemma. Discount Tire just put BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2s on sale and they would be $350 less then the Mickey Thompsons. Only difference is the KO2s are LT rated C load. Anyone running these on a 33 inch tire none Rubicon Gladiator? Thoughts? Should I stick with the Mickeys?
