I went with the smooth SE diamondback cover. Since my payload is just over 1000 lbs I Wanted to keep the weight down as much as I could. The SE is lighter, and I couldnāt put much more than 400lbs up there anyway By the time I loaded up .
I guess I go with one a little more expensive. It will be bouncing around in the bed. I just put on the diamondback cover so Iāll be limited to size as I donāt want to put it in the bed. Looks like I only have a little over 17ā of space. Probably means Iām looking at something under 40 quarts.
I went with the Mojave. Mostly for the ride. Mine is my DD and will see the majority of its time on the pavement. Off road will primarily just be unpaved roads.
I do plan on taking it on a few off-road trips, but No rock crawling for me. The Mojave is much more than I will ever use.

My Mojave is 1059. Iāll be adding a diamondback cover next week. That will set me back another 100-150lbs.
I didnt think about payload when I was buying. It was a spur of the moment buy, but it is still better payload than the wrangler I traded in.
I guess I need to lose some weight. And...
Iāve started looking at fridges and canāt decide which way to go. I want one that will fit in the bed, Iām waiting for my diamondback cover to see how much height I have. Itās suppose to be here Tuesday. I plan on installing a 12 volt plug in the back.
I go back and forth on spending the...
Iām avg 18 on my stock Mojave. I still have less than a 1000 miles on and mostly in town driving. Hopefully it will get a little better, but even on the highway I donāt see 25 mpg.
and my fenders are not painted.
Iām concerned with this also. My Mojave has a payload of 1059 lbs, not great.
I ordered a diamondback SE that will weigh around 90lbs. That leaves 969lbs. The wife and I go around 350 lbs combined,( Iām working on losing a few lbs), that leaves 619 lbs for cargo.
We are planning on a few...
I traded my 2017 wrangler couple of weeks ago. I wasnāt really planning on it, a friend mentioned that used car prices were high. This is what I got.
I thought with the black grill, running boards, and top the fenders being black looked fine.
But it was also in stock and Iām too impatient to order one and wait. i do think it looks good with the sarge green.
Thanks for the suggestions, Iām leaning towards the gazelle tent, not sure if T4 or T8. Definatly will use cots, will two fit in the T4? And I have a battery operated fan, and I forgot about the ice chest cooler thing I use to use in the plane, i dont think it would cool a tent though.
im...
Iāve got a diamondback cover ordered. Iām assuming that if I get the Gazelle T8 Iāll have to strap it to the top of the cover.
How long is the T4? Will it fit in the bed?
I took a look at the gazelle tents. I wonder how the T-8 would work out. If we stayed at one camp for a few days I wonder if the extra room would come in handy.
if it were just me id go for a small tent, but the wife would like plenty of room.
