Good job by your Dad on his 30yrs at Boeing. That’s a hell of an achievement. Hope he got a nice watch out them ;). And much respect and admiration for your past military service.
Its the same here. People are stretched and burned out and hanging in there by a thread (and I’m one of them...
I could not agree more. That was another shocker. They ran the same adds here and we had the same disappointment. Unlike the XJ which was a massive sales hit here.
Taste is always subjective isn’t it? Fair enough to.
I like the look of the avenger. For that purpose / commuter I’d contemplate avenger. (Is that what it’s called? The little ev etc).
I hear you re eggs and sucked caramel cars. Yes.
It’s a dear name to me personally. Renegade. It’s a...
Lol x 2.
But being electric the wag s ev might just be reliable. Who knows? It’s a freakin nice looking wagon. Hats off to jeep guys for it. Keep it up fellas.
Whereas Toyotas can be ugly and still sell well, it’s not like that here in au w Jeeps.
But if they’re good looking vehicle w a...
Lol It’s so true. A disgrace they used the name for that dog of car.
On the flip side the wagoneer s electric looks sharp. Good looking Jeeps always sell well. Ugly Jeeps not so much imho
Yeah big corporate is maddening alrighty :).
..never mind constant expansion of industry. Hb constant rate of economic growth being a central tenant of neo-classical economics (our/mine/your prevailing economics, like it or not).
Absurd!! And yet these idiots believe it is the goal.
But...
Oh I’ve been ogling them long enough to notice they’re not actually steelies.
…Hood winked again in life by a goodlooking unit..
Still the comments apply.
A darn fine looking ride yes sir
Let’s all stop and take a moment to appreciate those steelies.
Jeep team, Mr Filosa, pls sort this out. Ffs pls.
Just make it an option ffs. Some painted steelies. It’s a jeep ffs. Take some pointers from team Ineos on this one lads pls.
Yeah I can imagine. They’re good for jobs like that. I do the same.
But they will kill the lovely juicy compliant rear end ride Of the glady with any pressure in them tbh.
That’s the compromise. And for some it’s too much. They kill articulation. Actually their job is to inhibit the normal...
Pressure is force on area. Airlift bags use a relatively low amount of force multiplied by a relatively large area.
Therefore even one pound/in2 (psi) can have a dramatic effect on the ride. Relatively low pressures can excerpt enormous forces when surface areas are large.
ie normally well...
An amazing colour. And another super good looking truck. I really hope 4xe JL/JT finds it’s way to this country. I’m not in any hurry they can take their time. As long as it gets here. And I really hope they’re still doing Earl when/if it finally gets here.
It’s just the beginning of the...
Look forward to reading about it. Your wife made a great call imho. Smart woman. Jeep have been deceptively clever w this model. The systems integration of the phev hardware to what is essentially the standard wrangler is, to some extent, a stroke of genius.
I.e. I’m not attracted to any other...
Beautiful vehicle and great colour choice.
noted comments re feeling heavier. I’d be interested to know the weight it records on public weigh bridge with a full tank of gas.
I also felt like the stock 3.6 gladiator was nimble and agile enough on test drive. My concern on test drive was the...
That’s the feeling I get looking at the front end. The design turned out pretty tight for engine bay space.
As a consolation prize surely the I6 turbo is shoe horned into JT within 12 months.
The bimmer B58 I6 seems to shift the 2.7t Grenadier about promptly. There Hurricane should work very...
Turbo I6 would be epic. But they’d need to make alot more than 250 of them for it to be on sale for more than day or two. Would transform the JT platform.
As other guys have said I hope they do it oneday in the lower grades / sport w steelies and all terrains w no leather or chrome anywhere.
Brother, the idea that any given political outcome in any country, any democratic country, will impact the cost of hydrocarbons in the future - is a fully flawed idea/belief.
And anyone who tries to assert otherwise is lying, ill informed, has a motive for doing so and / or simply should not be...
Valid points re reliability. That’s not really the fault of the tech though is it? More so the fault of the execution.
And for that side at least Jeep do offer a decent warranty these days.
Mass a good point also. By my calcs JT PHEV will end up being a smidge heavier than a fully optioned...
We don’t know any of the details for that 6x6 glady. It would be good to know them.
If it’s done properly/engineered correctly, ie with a proven pass through differential set and there was a plausible pathway to upgrade the GVM (there is here in AU)…if I had the resources I would have a 6x6...
I hear you. But it’s critical that this tech is deployed, tried, broken and made truer and truer until it’s proven and dependable.
Its critical for the Jeep brand, our countries and our planet.
PM me for a personal debate on any matter mentioned.
10-15 years down the road, maybe sooner, do...
