My Sarge green is awful. It shows everything. Where the door sill is, the body has tons of surface scratches just from shoes bumping it. Also random marks all over caused by who knows what. Light bushes leave pinstripes that wouldn't have done anything to my prior trucks.
My old Fords are 7 and...
I have the Nokian Outpost on my farm truck, good in snow, not very good on ice.
I have a steep, icy driveway here in North Idaho. There is no replacement for studs (except chains)
After a few days of melt cycles it becomes an ice rink on a 12-15 degree incline.
My studded Kenda Klever...
Those 12 ply Kanatis are big time overkill for the Gladdy but that would be perfect on my F250.
Wonder how they do in snow? Not alot out there on them.
those 392 wheels are the best looking wheels Jeep has ever made IMO
I got super lucky and found a take-off set of 5, like new for $600 or $700 I think
I couldn't get down there fast enough to pick them up, and look perfect on my Sarge Rubicon.
I got 3-4 feet on the ground so far here in North Idaho.
I'm from South Alabama and don't miss the heat at all; wearing shorts and riding a dirt bike to our family Christmas and having the keep the A/C running 24/7 is lame.
Now I have to plow with a fully chained up 55hp tractor and I love it.
I've tried basically all the popular AT tires and am convinced the Baja Boss AT is the best there is.
They are $$$ however, so if money is an issue the Kenda RT601 is hard to beat
I have the signature series and can't get the winch in after the bumper is installed, not even close.
If I try to put the winch in first, and then install the bumper, I can't get to the bolts to frame.
Other guys have been able to pull it off but I cannot.
My Badlands Apex wasn't even close to fitting in my LOD bumper, so I ended up putting it on my old farm truck.
Is there an 9.5k or larger winch that is particularly compact? Mainly front to back, length doesn't matter as much.
Seems hard to gather this info on most winches online.
I know I...
Just put on my studded 35"x10.5" Kenda Klever RT right before our last two big snows.
Holy cow this thing is a cheat code in the snow, even trying to, I haven't been been able to even get close to stuck. Not something I could say with the OEM falken AT's.
They were good in the snow and ice...
Well, I started the thread and went doorless / topless a good portion of the year, almost all offroad.
It completely trashed the interior but nothing my air compressor and a bunch of microfleece rags and 303 Interior protectant couldn't fix up.
