Wonder how these Falken RT's do in the cold stuff? I know from experience the Baja Boss AT is about the best snow/ice all terrain out there unless you have studs.
Went from factory Falken AT3W to the Kenda 35"x10.5" studded, and now it is a beast in the snow and ice.
If I didn't specifically want studs, I would have went with the Baja Boss AT, those are fantastic in the snow, much better than the Falkens.
IDK, but it seems like you could find a 3.6 in a junk yard and have someone throw it in for about $10k less.
But maybe things aren't that easy on these?
I just found bubbling on pretty much all my door hinges. Need to look over the truck more closely to see if that is all. It was purchased new in Mar 2022 so Jeep still hasn't figured it out apparently. pretty disappointing.
Weird, I have the Outpost on my Super Duty and they are fantastic. Weird to discontinue a tire after just over a year of being out.
Maybe more likely because the Outposts are made in Russia. At least mine are.
I'd trade my Sarge for Punkin in a second. I'm pretty unhappy with how soft the Sarge seems to be. Shows absolutely everything and everything leaves a permanent mark on it. And I live a few miles down a muddy or dusty road.
Times have sure changed quickly. In mid 2018 I bought a brand new, well equipped, crew cab, gas, 4x4 Ford Super Duty for $39,000
Same truck would cost me almost $60,000 right now.
I have two Tundras, same truck. One has Falken AT3Ws, one has Baja Boss AT.
The Baja Boss is hands down better in snow and ice. When the Falken equipped truck gets stuck getting up my driveway, the Baja Boss equipped truck can pull around it and head straight up the hill. They are impressive...
Making the front end of vehicles fuglier is the hot new trend.
First the Chevy heavy duties a couple years ago and now the Ford Super Duty and my beloved Gladiator.
Wish I wouldn't have got American Trail Products Rocker skids/step bars
I should have waited for Rockhard's.
The ATP's are a year old and look like hell already, rusting worse than the Chinese Tyger's that are on the other truck.
Either cheap steel, or crappy powdercoat.
Shew Buddy alot of haters in here.
430 ft lbs versus 260 in my Rubicon Gladiator at basically the same price.
I had a just the regular 2.7 Ecoboost in an F150 and that thing hauled ass.
Lot more bang for the buck in the Ranger Raptor, if only the top and doors came off I'd be gone.
Also, if...
It annoys me to no end that the hemi would fit fine in the Gladiator and they just won't do it.
In the Ram the V8 is standard in most trims but knowing Jeep they would charge 10k for this option in the Gladiator.
Man these trucks really eat up a tire! 37" look normal and 33" look tiny.
The only other trucks that do this are the Ford Alumiduties. They look like skates on anything smaller than a 35.
I've said it probably 20 times already on here but my Baja Boss AT's are the best tire I have ever ran.
I thought the Flakens were good in the snow and ice til I got the Baja Boss. BIG difference.
