I put Dana 5.13's into my Gladiator Willy's and absolutely love it. It came standard with the 3.73 gears and after adding the Teraflex CT2 lift + a steel bumper, winch, 35's x5, it was lagging to say the least. I was still putting out about 17.5mpg with most of my driving being about 50-60 mph...
ive never liked spacers, if you want to eliminate the squat get good springs and pay that money money for adjustable shocks! That is literally what they are made for when towing.
just looked at the photo of your truck, I have to reiterate the weight aspect even if thats not the root of this issue. You have dropped a ton of stuff onto that truck and those 4.10s are really taxed. IMO. Let me know though, I'm intrigued.
yea, nobody knows what kinda "slow" your talking about, but your running 37's on 4.10 gears, with how much extra weight? There could be validity in needing to re gear depending on what kinda lag your talking. Especially with tire weight, this might just have been the tipping point, but again I...
Give it another chance, sometimes this happens, even on a 250 g car. No manufacturer is exempt and that's true. If the next one is trash, ok. I doubt that will be the case, I've been super happy with mine, zero issues.
yea i mean knowing is half the battle, I used a hand tool and should have known something was wrong when it was like turning a tank not a wrench. Didnt have any experience with body bolts in the past, learned the hard way. :)
Great video, this suspension is actually categorically a little different. The control arms, shocks, are a step up from mine. The springs are 4.5 over my 3.5. But this is quality stuff here.
thats because Jeep uses red thread locker on the front body bolts. Your lucky your body bolt didnt snap like my JL did. That and Jeep uses bs aluminum bolts!
Great setup-- how it the CT2 diff than the RT lift?
The Rogue Trail is basically the same kit except with higher level control arms that have independent rotating bushings. Those are meant to optimize greater flex without binding.
Just wanted to share my experience with TeraFlex, and give you very real guidance on my opinion if you are looking for a lift for your Jeep. In December 2020, I bought my 2021 Willys edition Gladiator. I immediately started adding aftermarket parts and started looking for a suspension lift. I...
