Seems everyone has a take on what jeep is right for them but the fun in these is also modifying them to what you like. The overland model is more than capable of off-roading, just add a sway bar disconnect to it and you'll get plenty of articulation. Also the alternative to spending a bunch of...
If someone is using a key copy why would they look for a bypass? Seems only people that know jeeps know what these are, they aren't plugged into anything obvious, and yes unplugging it would eliminate its effect, assuming you even know what it is. Smart or not I would think someone stealing a...
I have one from rugged radios for my midland gmrs, have had zero issues with it. Not sure what people are doing to bend it.. has not been a worry for me at all.
Im not gonna be helpful, instead ill just suggest you do what this guy does... 3,500 max tow rating with 1550 lb can-am maverick, 1400 lb polaris, unknown quad on the back (400-600)., plus the 6-800 pound trailer. I think you can pull whatever you want, YOLO, YODO. :CWL:
sounds a bit expensive, lots of people (companies) trying to up the prices saying inflation like its 500 percent or something. I couldn't imagine it costing more than 400 but heck. maybe you live in bfe.
I would first make sure that your gearing changes saved in your system. You can check that by going back into your settings and just looking at the gearing, if it shows the correct gearing, it saved (assuming you havent checked) the next step is to take it back to who did your gearing and report...
I would suspect, yes, your gearing job is interfering with your ability to transfer and your vehicles recognition of what gear your in. Did you re program your vehicle when you re geared, to specify your vehicle has 5.13 gearing?
I was driving in a rough parking lot (lots of loose pebbles) in my wrangler jl and i had a curve ball rock shoot out from my tire, swing over the front corner of the grill and hit square in the middle of my windshield and actually crack it. I watched as if in slow motion and thought, 'you got to...
They never had me to start. The best is when you go to a dealership and they put that lift on with some wheels and bigger tires, and charge 10 grand... :CWL: for a lift that isnt even complete. Poor unsuspecting future jeepers buying hot trash from a dealer for the kind of money they could get...
The reason people buy them is because jeep sells it as a lift they will warranty. The warranty loving people cant resist the or it may void your warranty clause! Mopar only warranties lifts 2" or under... or at least that was the case a couple years ago when I was looking at purchasing a lift...
