But the tire that is now in LF was on LR before the rotation and read fine. The only tire in question would be the spare as that was under the truck when I first mounted the new wheels/tires. Wonder if since 1 of the 4 had an issue then all 4 aren’t reading correct location, like they think...
I’ll be driving roughly 30 mins each way today, hopefully it will pick up the “spare” that is now on the truck. Never had an issue with my jk when rotating tires. Keep the ideas coming.
I posted the same in the Tire section but no replies so thought I’d post in the general as well.
So I hit 5000 miles and decided to do a five tire rotation. All 5 have TMPS sensors in them, and the original 4 mounted had no issues. I did spare to RR, RR to RF, RF to LR, LR to LF and LF to spare...
So I hit 5000 miles and decided to do a five tire rotation. All 5 have TMPS sensors in them, and the original 4 mounted had no issues. I did spare to RR, RR to RF, RF to LR, LR to LF and LF to spare as the usual 5 tire rotation goes. Drove around a bit so the sensors would update, and now the...
I removed entire exhaust by cutting it off just after where it bolts onto truck after the cats. Only spot where there’s a clamp, otherwise it’s 1 piece all the way to back of truck. I then cut off the tailpipe/resonator piece(entire black section at the end). I used some straight pipe and...
Did this ^ yesterday! I think it sounds awesome! Certainly not raspy as a lot of the exhausts for our engines sound. Also, combined with my k and n intake, certainly picked up some pep. I feel the engine just runs easier without the restriction of airflow.
did you just set front turns to LED on Tazer for no issues with the blinkers? I did that as well but still have it showing in the dash. Must be the bulbs themselves having the issue even though the bulbs themselves do not hyperflash.
also did the reset as well. Guess I can try it again tomorrow
unfortunately nothing. DRLs are amber and turn white when lights come on. Also, they blink correctly outside both front and rear but inside show bulb out warning and rapid flash on the dash inside. Using Tazer but didn’t fix it.
Installed the quick disconnects for the soft top and cleaned it up. Also a good angle of the way it sits with the 1 1/2” rear spacers in place of the 3/4” rears.
Swapped out the 3/4” rear spacers for some 1 1/2” for just a little rake. Unfortunately can’t really tell in the pics. But definitely looks better.
they are definitely installed correctly. Could they be set back a bit more perhaps, but after using them for a few days they seem to be right where they should be. Easy in and easy out. And millions times better than without them, even my long legs struggles at times hopping in and out.
I removed mine and them cut them down to the shape of the bumper. Once off you can see there is a pretty good outline to follow. I brand new bales in a utility knife works wonderful to cut. Took me 15 mins total.
you won’t be disappointed. And
The Epyx are stamped for Drivers side and Passenger side. In addition, if you look Closely at the steps, the length of rail after the rear step is pretty short, so even if you flipped them against their ID, it would put the step for the front doors way too far...
