@Phil_R I personally like to leave little messages on windshields, usually very respectful things such as:
“You park like an a$$hole” or “fabulous parking job, retard” sometimes I get a little creative and end up with a “f*** you and the car that brought you here” or “you park like your fathers...
I have seen oil that had a sample taken every 5,000 miles (Mobil one synthetic) and according to black stone analysis at 20,000 miles the oil was still good, no abnormal particles or traces, and still had enough packages left to go another round… right before the car hit 25,000 miles on that oil...
I threw that out the window when I got the wildpeak MT’s these things are heavy. If I’m not mistaken I think the 35” falken are double what the factory set was at each wheel ( or damn near it) and they are heavier than a set of 37” Patagonia’s
i really like the aev saverge wheels, I don’t care for the poke I have on my Dirty Harry wheels...all the mopar lifts I’ve seen are more than the advertised 2” of actual lift, a local guy has the mopar lift on their JL I almost went with the mopar myself
Evo 2.5, Clayton control arms and fox 3-4” shocks, falken 35x12.5 mt
gained 4” up front and 3” in the back with the lift....I like how it rides better with the lift, steering feels a bit top heavy but I’m at 5* caster, hoping to take it to 6 this weekend see if I get an improvement. Also my...
ober gatlinburg is cool, usually when I go I spend my time out of town, I can see city streets in any town so I’ll take backroads and just cruise around.
You’re close to local tracks down there to wheel.
Or go into gatlinburg one day and just walk both sides. The distillery is a neat place to...
I had the same predicament… I decided against mopar because of the fixed lower control arms, if plans changed down the road I’d be throwing it all away. I ended up going with EVO springs and track bars, fox shocks 3-4” lift, and Clayton control arms… all in I was just over your budget by...
I hope it works well for you. I still need to get mine on a lift. I had trouble finding a whole lot of info on the EVO kit, I’ve seen some JT’s on here with this lift and I was struggling to choose between this and Clayton. Ultimately I chose the evo springs on assumption they were a little...
@ShadowsPapa @Mac
when I took mine apart the Max Tow springs had a slight tension on them when hanging, when I took the shocks out the axle came down far enough to just pop them out, the evo rear springs are a little longer in the rear than the max tow springs but the fox shocks are...
I just went through a similar dilemma, I have 0 intentions on hauling it anywhere but for a commuter car, it is a depreciating asset. I like to keep my Jeep at home for play so I bought a Kia Forte GT... fun/peppy/mediocre sized... 1.6 Turdblow 6spd manual.. get 36 mpg to and from work (200hp)...
