Sad to say but I ordered my first ever set of wheels today
Dirty Harryās
been working on, modifying, and driving vehicles for 16 years and have never bought a set of new aftermarket wheels... couldnāt resist with the JT though, these just happen to combine two of my favorite hobbies, vehicles...
Ordered a powder coat set up today for the JT and in the process of building an oven. Only issue Iām having is I have no clue what color pairs well with the GCM. I know red does, but I see a lot with red (rubiconās) and some with orange but that makes me think Mojave, does anyone have pictures...
It ma
thank you for the reply (and for spending the time to be thorough), made my day! Iāve been scouring, trying to figure out how I want to do mine, Iād like to build a few things for it just because I can... it seems sacrilege to just buy everything and put it on... if itās going to be a...
Bought mine for the bed, tiny bed but a bed none-the-less, if I needed something to tow with I would have bought another full size. Always wanted a wrangler but I have to have some sort of bed. Iāve seen people put deer, hay, greasy parts, and all sorts of other things inside wranglers but Iāll...
Mine is a max tow, but I donāt see where 3/4ā loss of width per side would stop you from getting them on.... take one off and try it, wheel spacers would probably cause mine to grab a fender when off the pavement
No wheel spacers at all, on another note, anyone have a grinding noise in scc, mines doing it as I type, at 1.2mph, itās like a modulation noise from the abs just seems very rowdy
I wave at all wranglers (CJ/TJ/YJ/ect...), gladiators, and cherokees 2001 and older. I hate the new cherokees, I feel like they didnāt do them justice. I hardly get waves back, but thatās ok, I figure itās because Iām such a bright individual that people canāt look directly at me and see me...
My truck didnāt come with those air dams... Iāve seen 2020 model years with them and all the 2021 models I looked at before mine didnāt have the air dams. Mine has a cover for the fog light rears but itās tucked into the back of the bumper... if you have a ā21 no trimming needed
Max Tow, bone stock (no lift/level of any kind) they will fit on stock wheels and not rub, lock to lock steering, with saw bars connected it never rubbed off road at the farm... I pulled it on a rock pile that was a couple feet trying to get it to rub and it never did. If it doesnāt rub off the...
21 max tow with 2300 on the clock... tereflex level and 35x12.5 falken MT- getting 18-19 āin townā (60mph on flattish roads) over the weekend I drove it with a trailer and coolers to get my beef avg 14-15 there and 13.5 back with 700ish lbs of meat+cooler weight+trailer weight, going through the...
ā21 JT Max Tow I wasnāt sure about the mileage after purchasing, and I also understand this little truck is going to be hateful on fuel (shaped like a turd brick). But when I put Wildpeak MTās on I was at 12.8mpg before tire size correction, managed to get it done today and filled up at The...
that hit me right in the feels, a few years back I bought the snap-on 1/2ā and 3/8ā torque wrenches (digital) that have the angle measure, saved Presets, multiple measurement jazz on them for a gut wrenching $1200+.... granted Iām a wrench for a living and I donāt put any faith Into something...
Slid out to the shop and got the tereflex 1.5ā kit on this evening, I just couldnāt stand the stance without it.... bugged me every time I looked at it
Also got a few pics of the tire poke on 35/12.5 on stockers with max tow fenders... I had seen one base sport and one rubicon but I didnāt...
@jurfie i hope so as well... itās the only post Iāve found of diy sliders for JTās so far... Iād love to fab my own, got a shop full of tools to use... and it looks like the OP put a lot of effort into this thread, but last day online was the day after this post. Doesnāt look hopeful.
