^ Just kidding ?
I'd let some air out but would not go below 30 psi with the lower brofile tires ?. Do you have a way to air back up before hitting pavement? That would play into the calculus too. You probably wouldn't want to drive far on pavement with those aired down.
Looks badass tho!
That was pretty much my thought process on this go-round as well. I put a bunch of money and an shit-ton of work into building my JK.
When I was finished, it was damn cool... but honestly, a mostly stock Rubi would have taken me 99% of the places I went in it. After having a baby, I definitely...
I sold my Tacoma with 7k miles to a company called Texas Auto Value for $6k over new MSRP.
I honestly thought it was a scam at first.. seemed too good to be true but apparently the used car market is just stupid right now.
Might be worth checking with them. They gave me the best price by far...
Thanks guys! I think I should be good to go now .. but I wont know for a bit. The compressor didnt come with the T-fitting thingy that you need to connect the pressure switch and hose coupler to the unit. So now I have to order one and wait ?
Sorry, should have been more descriptive.
I just meant I'm not running an aftermarket fuse block. The wiring harness that comes with the ARB compressor has a fuse and a relay built into it. So I'm going to run the red/black main power lines from the harness direct to the battery terminals. I...
Hey guys -
I'm in the middle of wiring up my ARB single and I'm stuck with a question...
I'm following the how-to video from our friend on the site of which we do not speak. I'm going to wire the compressor direct to the battery terminals and would like to use one of the aux switches from the...
Ahh, lol, didn't think about that! Mosquitoes aren't much of a concern in the southwest.
Maybe you could back the truck under something like this? ?‍♂️...
I had Bilstein 5100s on my JKU. I can comfortably coast over terrain at 30 mph in my Mojave that used to rattle my teeth at 5 mph in the JK. I know it's not apples to apples, but the remote res shocks make a big difference IMO.
Hell, I might be in the minority, but I'd say go for it! Get a good air mattress (like an airbedz) and sleep under the stars. Grab a bed tent for if it rains and a pop up shade structure for shade and enjoy an extended camping trip! You could use a tent or something for storage.
If it sucks...
That's fair. No, I haven't driven an Overland. And maybe not every JT Rubi is like the one I drove... but man, it floated all over on the Interstate and it turned me off immediately (especially since I almost died due to a floaty Jeep). Maybe something was wrong with it ?‍♂️
I just mean I've...
That surprises me. I had the opposite experience. I test drove a JTR and thought the on-road ride quality was okay. I actually decided against buying a gladiator after that. On a whim, I test drove a Mojave, which changed my mind completely. I had a JKU before and have ridden in countless Jeeps...
Maybe I'm getting lazy as I get older (or maybe it's because I always have a thousand house projects to do), but I'd rather (and do) just carry/run an extension cord from the center console outlet than to go to all that trouble to have another one in the bed.
I got the jack back in this morning. The Armorlite is thicker than the carpet so it wont snap back on but I was able to get it back on by loosening the bolt a bit.
Lol, totally agree!
Mine has that too. 2022 Mojave 3.6. No idea. Subscribed though, because I'm curious as well. Seems like a low point, but I'm not too concerned since it's right behind the wheel.
Huh... that's weird. Especially since that area is the black hole on every vehicle ever made. Thanks for the update!
Did you have to loosen the bolt that holds the factory floor jack in place to get it back in?
