  1. Armorlite Install Questions

Minus a couple of nitpicky fitment issues, super happy with it overall! I am a little concerned though, about the cell phone death crevice between the seats and the center console. Is that where you're talking about applying duct tape?
  2. Armorlite Install Questions

I didnt re-loctite the seat bolts... You think that'll be okay? There was still quite a bit of the factory goop on them and I tightened the hell out of them.
  3. Armorlite Install Questions

Just did mine last night. I did it by myself and it took me closer to 5 hours... but an hour of that was going to harbor freight for a set of eTorx sockets.... The directions were definitely unclear on a couple of things and I realized after I got it all put back together that you only need to...
  4. Tell us your Jeep flip story. Rolls also accepted.

Almost 2 years ago, I was driving up a two lane highway at about 50 mph, on my way to a deer hunt. My jeep was on 35s with a 3.5" lift... and pretty floaty. I must have looked down for a second, and drifted over the white line where there was no shoulder. My tire caught gravel and fishtailed the...
  5. Ko’s ‘22 JTR “build”

Congrats! Is that your first one? Mine's about to turn two. He loves the Jeep!
  6. Death wobble or death from uhaul

I would probably drop the trailer and see if you can recreate what you felt. If it happens without the trailer attached, it's definitely something with the suspension. If not, then it's probably the trailer.
  7. Death wobble or death from uhaul

Did it feel like the wobble was coming from the front wheels? Could you feel it in the steering wheel? Here's a pretty good video that explains death wobble: If it felt like it was in the rear, then it was probably trailer sway. Small, unloaded trailers can do that at higher speeds.
  8. Mojave Rear Seats

That holds true across all models though, correct? ie - as far as rear seats are concerned, the leather seats on the Mojave are the same as the leather seats on the Rubicon/Sport/etc. And the cloth rear seats on the Mojave are the same as the cloth seats on the Rubicon/Sport/etc.
  9. thanks homie...

Ugh, I hate people. Glad to hear everyone's okay. I got rear ended last year at a red light and the kid was not going to stop. I pulled over and he just rolled forward, waiting for the light to change so he could take off. I stepped out of my car and waved him down with a police officer friend...
  10. Mojave Rear Seats

Just wanted to throw this out there in case someone is wondering this in the future and comes across this thread: I got confirmation that the rear seats in the Mojave are the same as all the other trims. Only the Mojave front seats are different ?? PRPs ordered!
  11. Seat covers

    Ordered. Thanks bro!
  12. Seat covers

What center console arm rest cover is that??
  13. Not Gladiator specific, but Jeep related

I'd vote JK. Still simple enough to work on yourself, more modern safety features and you can still find used ones reasonably priced without a quadrillion miles on them. The prices people still want for TJs blows my mind. I get it, they're cool. I'd love to have one and the old inline 6 is...
  14. Who is your best friend in the Jeep community?

Mr. Coors. We met in college. We've had lots of good times.... I think.... from what I can remember anyway.
  15. Survey- For those with misfire issues

What OBD reader are you using? I'm assuming that it's something you can just leave connected all the time?
  16. What am I doing wrong? (4-low)

Gotcha! It's probably just not fully engaging due to being in sand and not rolling far enough. I literally had the same thing happen this past weekend and had to put it back up into four High to get it rolling enough to get into four lo.
  17. What am I doing wrong? (4-low)

Mines a little sticky, but nowhere near as rough as my JK was. Try it on pavement. Bump to neutral while SLOWLY rolling forward or back, pull it all the way down to 4lo, then bump back to Drive. Seriously though, even if you fuck it up, it definitely shouldn't stall the engine. By "stall" do...
